Location, room and bathroom size, interior design, atmosphere and afternoon tea ceremony

Pretty expensive for a 4-star hotel. Staff was ok, but not amazingly friendly / knowledgeable, especially at breakfast (they could probably use some more people there). Breakfast itself could definitely be better. Pancakes were terrible and looked more like some factory made stuff with some powder sugar on top.

this is a place where a guest need only ask and every request, any question or need in any language will be met with info or friendly professional fulfillment. it is a quiet property with simple, tranquil rooms yet just steps away from the concentrated bustle of tourist shops & eateries, taxis and public transportation. i recommend that simple horizontal safety bars be added for ease of angled exit from the step-in shower in tub which also has a hinged glass door. this would also facilitate air drying to encourage that towels be reused.
