Salento Winery Lodge

We booked this hotel with high expectations, but unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. We even paid extra for a room with a private whirlpool, which turned out to be a waste of money. The whirlpool was not properly cleaned or filled, and when we asked the hotel to take care of it, we were told the heating system was out of service. Their “solution” was to install a simple tap so we could add hot water manually – very unprofessional and not what one expects at this price point. Other issues continued to add up: • The bath slippers provided were not clean. • A strong, unpleasant drain odor lingered in the bathroom. • The pool area looked nice at first glance, but most of the sun loungers were dirty and in need of refurbishment. To make matters worse, the music around the pool was far too loud, making it uncomfortable for many guests. The breakfast was also disappointing. There was hardly any variety, and several basic items came with extra charges, such as freshly squeezed orange juice for €8. Even more disturbing was the lack of hygiene and training among the staff: to prepare an omelette with ham and cheese, one staff member simply grabbed the ham and cheese directly with their hands from the buffet and tore it apart in front of guests. Truly unacceptable. It became clear that the staff were not well-trained, and management seemed inexperienced in hotel operations. While the hotel may look appealing in photos, the cleanliness and service are nowhere near Central European standards. Considering the high-season prices, the overall quality and professionalism were far below expectations. Conclusion: The hotel looks nice online, but in reality, it is overpriced, poorly maintained, and run without proper management standards. Not recommended.

Era di uno splendore et la cucina buonissima

Il fatto che io non parlo affatto inglese quindi con il personale era un po’ difficile visto che parlavano solo in inglese ma c’era Fabio x risolvere il piccolo disguido !

Sensor in de kamer - rookmelder (heel de dag oranje,rood,groen lampje..donker doekje erover lost het wel op😎). Gebrek aan diversiteit personeel: Fabio een goede Italiaans Host en de rest niet italiaanse mannelijke staf. Wij zouden meer diversiteit met meer italiaans en vrouwelijke staf prettig vinden.

Dejlig morgenmad og pool område - defekt køleskab på værelse - blev fjernet og problem blev ikke løst , uden kold vand mm I vores ophold - blev ikke tilbudt løsning Gik selv til personale , om vi kunne få dem til hold en flaske vand på køl - kan se på hôtel regning at vi har betalt for vores egen købt vand 😳

Fantasztikus hely pihenésre, belépve a nyugalom szigetén találod magad a kellemes zenékkel. A napágyak nagyon kényelmesek voltak az egésznapos pihenésre. A kert gyönyörűen karbantartott, nagyon szép növényekkel. Fabio és Luigi fantasztikus vendéglátók, minden vendéghez van pár kedves mondatuk. Szívesen ajánlanak a közelben éttermeket, látnivalókat is. A személyzet mindenben a rendelkezésünkre állt. Itt megtapasztalhattuk az igazi olasz vendégszeretetet. A szoba is tiszta, modern, jól felszerelt. A strand és a boltok is kb. 15 perc sétára találhatóak. Érdemes a környék látnivalóit autóval felfedezni.

Az ágymatrac lehetne kényelmesebb.
