Salento Winery Lodge

Wow ! The hotel fulfilled all our expectations. The host of the Hotel organized everything we want in a prefect way. It's a perfect hideaway for a trip to Puglia in Italy. The hotel is super dog friendly!!

The hotel and its grounds were beautiful. The pool area spectacular.

The disorganisation. The staff were polite but need training in the hospitality industry. There needs to be a reception desk, a menu for wine and food with cost (not on what’s app- which is forgotten to be sent out), broken pool umbrellas, water pressure and hot water for showers were poor at times, have the account finalised ready for guests and there wasn’t a winery. No information to get through the security gate or wifi unless asked for. You had to ask for everything. It became a joke amongst the guests down by the pool This hotel has so much potential if they train staff and look at other hotels and how they run.

Really stylish and comfortable - Fabio and Alex were great hosts and very personable and friendly. The hotel is really nicely laid out and secure, the rooms were comfortable and spacious and nicely furnished.

The bathrooms did have some leaks and the shower head needed replacing as it was damaged through the water being so quite hard and calcified. In general a little maintenance wouldn’t go a miss… The hotel employs mainly Indian staff who whilst being polite and quite helpful, were not really trained in customer service so we had to chase them up when ordering food and drink etc but that’s a very minor point.

Fabio the owner of the hotel was so generous and helpful. It was all perfect.

Everything, starting with the garden, the pool, the restaurant and the rooms. Service excellent. 10 out of 10.

Salento Winery Lodge är ett estetiskt vackert hotell som gjort för avkoppling. Alltid fräsch och välstädat. Lugnt och skönt, fantastiskt poolområde med fina solbäddar och parasoller, jättegod frukost med olika varianter på äggrätter och kaffe utöver den vanliga frukostbuffén, allting ingår i rumskostnaden, mycket generöst. God italiensk lunch och middag lagas i det egna köket, färsk fisk, bläckfisk, musslor varje dag. Fabio och hans team tar hand om oss gäster på ett föredömligt sätt, varje dag.

It is an oasis of calm and tranquility. Fabulous pool, beautiful landscaping and super friendly staff who are always ready to look after your every need. Rooms are extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. Delicious breakfast and try the wines….we had several delicious bottles of Fiano during our stay.

Beautiful surroundings, swimming pool is great. Rooms comfortable, nice decor and quiet. Staff are really friendly and eager to help.

1. Despite the staff being eager to help and friendly, they clearly have limited hospitality training. The restaurant is promoted as luxury but the staff do not know how to wait tables properly. 2. The food was not good enough for what you hope for when seeing the website and menu. The menu was very limited and completely different to what is on the website. Not sure why they don't keep it simple when the staff are not trained. This place has so much potential. I wish them all the best.
