Tv barely works

It was very quiet, everyone respected our do not disturb sign especially since we had a baby with us. It was really decently clean.

The tv barely worked, there wasn’t an iron in the room like most hotels so I used a straightener to iron my husbands shirt because we forgot ours at home. Nothing major we didn’t like all small things.

The person behind the counter was nice, but I’m surprised by the high rating of this place. I can tell the owners have tried updating things but it’s still very run down. The knob to the hot water in the shower was broken, almost all the hot water came out from the knob instead of the faucet, making for a cold shower. Towels were in poor condition and the counters and mirrors were as well. The bed was like sleeping on a box spring. If the bed had at least been decent I would have said this is an okay place for a cheap nights rest in between destinations but it wasn’t restful. In the morning we found a dead roach in the middle of the room. The area around the inn was very nice and it did feel safe. Just know you get what you pay for here.

The room had A/C and the plumbing worked.

The room was dank/humid and had a smell of mildew. The toilet was loose from the floor. The room had no luggage rack or hanging area for clothing. The room's floor was sticky (maybe due to humidity). The tub was missing the safety handle which left a huge hole in the shower wall. The sink counter was not cleaned properly. The mattress was super thin, sagged in the middle, and was uncomfortable. There were people right outside the room door yelling, laughing, fighting, drinking and breaking bottles in the parking lot. The noise lasted until approx 1 am, even after I reported the noise to the front desk.

Good location and access to I20. Room appeared has been renovated. Cleaning can be improved. Not very welcoming staff.

A clean and newly renovated, no-frills hotel in an excellent location with close proximity to restaurants and convenient stores. I stay here often. It’s a newly renovated older motel. The linen and bedding is very clean and comfortable. I like that they have a table and chairs Along with amenities, such as a microwave and small refrigerator. It’s really what a hotel or motel should be. Clean and cheap. The only issue I had was the towels had stains on them and should be out of service. But overall, check-in was very easy and check out as well. I will definitely stay again.

The location is minutes away from everything and right off the highway. It was very convenient
