San Michele al Castello

Beautiful location. Good breakfast but limited healthy choice. Mosquito nets on windows

Not reachable by car. Public parking 5 minutes walking distance uphill. This information could have been communicated in detail in advance. I called 30 min before arriving. We had to call again at the gate and wait 10 min for someone to receive us.

Great place in the centre of Castiglion Fiorentino v close to shops bars and restaurants.Lovely lady served us breakfast,she knew no english but we had fun with google translate! Would definitely recommend this place.

Nothing really,only downside was no parking on site but there was free parking close by.The owners picked us up from the car park with our luggage and same at the end of our stay ,took us and our luggage back to the car.

Our stay at San Michele al Castello was amazing. Sonya, Marcello were perfect hosts in every way from helping us find our way upon arrival to advising us about parking in Arezzo. The facility is charming and a perfect location for exploring Castiglion Fiorintino and close to great restaurants. The grounds are beautiful with fabulous gardens and lawns. We stayed in the tower room with its own beautiful private patio where we were we enjoyed wonderful breakfasts served to us by lovely staff. We had our dog with us and found them to be very pet friendly. She loved it too and didn't want to leave. We will definitely recommend San Michele al Castello to our friends and anticipate returning ourselves.

Beautiful B&B with great rooms, breakfast and location. The staff were all very lovely and so helpful in getting us around town - would recommend

Very clean

Great choice of 3 different breakfasts, the host extremely helpful and speaking German and English perfectly. Cinzia who is looking after the place, an exuberant friendly and chatty Italian, with whom you would learn Italian in record time.

The pillows were too hard for my liking.

This is seriously one beautiful place. Extraordinary view out over the city. Has a charming homely feel to it. Watching the sun set in the front lawn was a wonderful highlight of our time there. Beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. Our stay was really peaceful. Cinzia spoilt us with a wonderful breakfast with homemade cakes and biscuits and Sonia filled our minds with the amazing history of Castiglion Fiorentino and how this amazing house was renovated by her whole family.

Outstanding location in the city, and close to everything. Room was very nice and our host Sonia was amazing. It was the best breakfast I have ever had at an Italian B&B. Would recommend this B&B as an excellent place to stay.

The pillows on the bed were very hard, and not comfortable at all. It would be a big improvement if there were pillow options available in the room, so we could swap it out in the night if it wasn't comfortable. We did not sleep well, solely because of the pillows.
