Residenza Amalphia

Gerardo and his family are superhosts, they gave us lots of tour tips, shopping tips, and guided us in everything about transport on the coast, we felt at home, very comfortable rooms, great breakfast, excellent location, next to the square central Amalfi.

We recently stayed at Residenza Amalphia and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore the area. The breakfasts were delicious, featuring fresh, local products, and the homemade cakes were a delightful treat. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great advice on what to see nearby and recommending excellent restaurants. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. I highly recommend Residenza Amalphia for anyone visiting the area.

This is a family business that is run with attention and love. Gerardo met me at the dock and had my bags taken up to the room. Giovanna was extremely helpful with recommendation and reservations as needed. The location was amazing. The place was clean and well kept. The breakfast was as exceptional. Highly recommended all around!!

This is the place to stay in Amalfi. Location, superb. Right on the main street with super solid windows and doors, so quiet. We all should want Gerardo and his lovely family to guide us through the sights and activities of this beautiful coastline. They know everything! And are always available for suggestions and questions. His dad bakes the morning coffee cakes, and he is a talented baker. Sister runs the breakfast buffet. This is a small place, just 4-5 rooms, that is so nice to come home to after a busy day. Rooms are very nice, as shown in the listing. Thanks to Gerardo and all!

Not a thing wrong, our stay was perfect.

Our recent stay at Residenza Amalphia was spectacular!! We were greeted at the ferry by Geraldo (one of the owners) and driven a short distance to the hotel. The hotel is perfectly located to get to all the sights in the area. We met Geraldo's sister, Joanna, and were shown to our room. We stayed in a junior suite with the beautiful ceiling fresco and a terrace on the main street. The windows keep out any noise from the town below if you want quiet. This just recently became a 4 room hotel that was converted from a private home. The bedroom was huge with an attached beautifully tiled bath. It takes your breath away when you see it! The bed was so comfy. In the morning we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with everything you could imagine. Their father bakes a different cake every morning that is delicious. I could not recommend this hotel more highly! The hotel is fantastic in every way, the owners could not be nicer, or more helpful, and the location is the best. I can't wait to return to Residenza Amalphia. I may never leave.

Family owned business and it shows in their dedication to the hotel, the amenities and, of course, their guests. Giovanna and Gerardo are exceedingly friendly and helpful with whatever question one might have and will give tips for day trips or localities in and around Amalfi. Highly recommended.

Great family run hotel. Did not want to leave! Joanna was so sweet and helped us with reservations. Breakfast was fantastic with homemade cakes. Room was beautiful. Great location in middle of amalfi.
