Residenza Amalphia

Beautiful property in the heart of Amalfi, with exceptionally high spec - everything felt brand new and top quality. The room was staggeringly beautiful with a lovely balcony overlooking the bustling main street (and with soundproof doors when we wanted quieter time). We were also upgraded which was a lovely surprise. The family that run the property were delightful - they helped us to find extraordinary restaurants and sights, provided fabulous breakfasts and made us feel truly at home. One of the best places that we have ever stayed.

This is a small family business. The owners were extremely kind and helpful. They provided an excellent breakfast with a special range of home-made Italian dishes. They also arranged a transfer to Salerno for me and assisted with taking my luggage to the port. My room was spacious, quiet and comfortable.

Great location, wonderful family looking after you - very friendly and full of helpful suggestions for all our requests. Breakfast was amazing and we enjoyed a junior suite which was spacious and comfortable. All the rooms have dramatic high ceilings and having been only recently opened it is all super shiny and clean and soundproofing is to a high standard . Small touches we also liked were the Smeg kettle, assistance with sorting parking and the cheese omelette deserves a special mention!

Beautiful interiors. Great location, everywhere is close from here. Our host Gerardo was amazing and very helpful. He shared the tips for dining and recomended some sightseeing tours. Great breakfast and amazing cake :)

An incredible property with the most fantastic staff. Gerardo and his family are super hosts. Gerardo met us at the ferry and introduced us to Amalfi on the short walk to the hotel. He was incredibly helpful in pointing out nearby attractions, restaurants and bars. He helped make reservations and all of his recommendation were amazing. The hotel is full of history and character. It was super clean and the delicious food is mostly made by the family. This was a wonderful, warm and authentic experience staying with Gerardo in the centre of Amalfi. I would 100% recommend and look forward to staying there again soon!

The property was absolutely beautiful! The location - right next to the main street but the soundproof windows didn't let a single noise in. But the greatest value of this place is it’s owner! Girardo was the best helpful and kind host we ever met! He helped us with everything - from carrying our luggage’s from the taxi to making reservations at restaurants he recommended! Grazie!

The best hotel we've ever stayed in! Gerardo and his family made our stay truly special. They provided us with their best room, offering a gorgeous view of Main Street. The hotel is conveniently located right in the center of Amalfi, just a 3-minute walk from the port (ferry station). Gerardo met us at the port when we arrived from Salerno, took care of our luggage, and escorted us to the hotel.It's also worth mentioning that this was the first hotel that ever texted us prior to our visit. Gerardo was always in touch with me via Whatsapp and helped me book train tickets as well as provided a ferry schedule, which made our travel much smoother. Room: The room was incredibly spacious, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the view was perfect. Breakfast: Each day, they served us a fantastic breakfast, with a choice of eggs, fresh coffee, a hot buffet (which even included eggplant sauté), and a variety of cheese and yogurt selections. Staff: The staff members were the most caring people you'll ever meet. Gerardo always helped us with all our questions and even prepared a daily itinerary for us. His sister greeted us with a smile, served us fresh coffee, and Alfonso cooked the most delicious breakfast. Location: A 5-star location! You can find all the restaurants within a minute's walk from the hotel. To sum up, we can't wait to come back, and we highly recommend staying at Residenza Amalphia.
