East Rock Inn

Very nice, clean, and cozy. We were there for snow activities, and it is not far away from Catamount by car. The room is quite independent from one another. The host was kind and helpful. It was also super close to a nice restaurant, so you don't even need to drive in the dark to get dinner!

I am not sure whether it will be as convenient if you are not driving. It will be a bit dark outside. Otherwise everything is just fine!

Proximity to ski resort, clean and very comfortable

Nothing really

The room was just as advertised. It was cozy. The location was nice with a walking trail across from the property. The staff communicated quickly when I had a wi-fi issue. Followed up to ensure we were all set.

The snow removal could've been a little better. The walk from the car to the room was maybe 15 feet, but we tracked a lot of snow in the room. The walkways were done well. The room didn't have a microwave, which I should've noticed on the room description. Most rooms have microwaves these days and are necessary. The bed was too soft, and the pillows were a little too thick for my liking. That is personal preference.

It was cold and noisy and the shower didn't drain and was freezing. At first we didn't have enough blankets. We did appreciate that the staff responded immediately and brought more on a very cold night. But it was really odd. The bed was very small for two people. Overall the place is just strange. It wasn't terrible but it doesn't merit the good reviews it got that made me choose it.

I wish our room had a microwave, but there was easy access to one in the common area.

Very good option near Catamount ski resort!

The room was nice and recently renovated. Easy check in considering they don’t have a lobby. I liked how it had YoutubeTV already on the TV. The room stated it had a Mountain View, it was more of trees in front of a hill. Not a big deal but expected a mountain. The only problem I had is when I was sleeping and the people in the room next door showed up, they were incredibly loud and obnoxious from the second they stepped in the room. The gentleman working was very nice and did everything he could such as talk to them but those folks didn’t care. He also tried to move me but the motel was full. I ended up having to get ear plugs from CVS to sleep through the night. That being said I the motel was great but the other guests were careless of anyone else.

Great little hotel with a very comfortable bed and coffee and mini-fridge in the room.
