staff was so nice. Even surrounded by the woods,so comfortable and clean. If they could give us little more information about to reach the place,it would help.

The photos to this property are old and not accurate to the current condition of the resort. I stayed in the gold house which is a 10 minute walk to the main resort. Its in front of a rice field which is nice, however there are no street lights, so at night its just you and your torch. The lock to the place is just a padlock to glass doors and you cant even lock it properly at night from the inside. What the photos dont include is that there is no ceiling - just an open wooden slat roof. There are no curtains in the main bedroom so the light in the morning is like waking up on the surface of the sun. The room downstairs is the only one with aircon so it smells of black mold. Its not worth the price. Better staying somewhere in town. The view from the main room upstairs is lovely and its peaceful.

My friend and I recently did a girls trip to Bali and stayed at the Firefly Eco Lodge for 10 days. I can’t rave enough about how beautiful and magical the accommodations were! It was perfect! Nico and his staff were so friendly and went above and beyond. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip and hope to be back again soon!

Really nice stay for a couple of days. Its not your luxury resort but staying out in the rice fields has its own relax to it.

This place was different for sure! For those of you that seek out authentic places to stay, this is it! I loved this place but just make sure you pick a room that is suitable for your liking and abilities! We were a group of 7 so we had 3 different rooms. 2 of our rooms had AC and were enclosed. We had the Aqua Room and the Red Room, there are two other rooms which are attached to the lobby which include the Blue Room and one other. The only downfall of these rooms are that they are next to the common area which can be noisy. I would highly recommend to stay in one of these rooms if you do not like sleeping outdoors without walls, AC and most likely climbing a ladder to your room. I enjoyed my authentic stay in the Magical Treehouse but keep in mind that the bathroom is down the steep ladder and anything you want to bring upstairs, you do so in a backpack. There is no wall, so no door to lock. You can however lock up your belongings in a cabinet below. The bird nests have the same set up. Besides those 6 (9 including all levels of the bird's nest) rooms I don't know. The menu was a bit limited there but there is a cool pool next door with food as well. It is possible to walk to downtown Ubud for shopping and restaurants but it can be quite sketchy at night! BRING A FLASHLIGHT! And be prepared to walk 8 minutes through a small path with NO lights and WATER ON BOTH SIDES of the path on your way to and from the FireFly Eco Lodge! Call them and they'll direct you there!

Die Übernachtung im Baumhaus war eine einzigartige Erfahrung. Das Personal ist immer bemüht, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Transfer vom Parkplatz hat super geklappt. Leider konnten wir nicht so schlafen, wie wir es gehofft hatten.

Wir haben uns in der Firefly Eco Lodge richtig wohlgefühlt. Die Angestellten waren so herzlich und hilfsbereit. Man muss aber wissen, was man hier bucht. Wer Luxus sucht, sollte etwas anderes buchen. Die Unterkunft ist keine normale Unterkunft. Sie liegt mitten in Reisfeldern. Allein der Weg dorthin war für uns das erste Highlight. Die Zimmer... wir hatten den Silver-Room. Sehr schön, geräumig, mit Badezimmer unter freiem Himmel und unterm Dach zum Teil offen. Natürlich hat man manchmal kleine Mitbewohner und vom Baum herabgefallene Blätter in der Dusche. Aber genau das macht es aus. Die "Lobby" oder Lounge lädt zum Verweilen, essen und einen Drink ein. Vielleicht auch ein Gespräch mit anderen Gästen. Es liegen dort auch einige Spiele bereit. Drum herum ist allerdings nicht viel. Die Hauptstraße ist eher beschwerlich als Fußgänger. Nebenan ist aber noch die Kelapa Muda (Ubud Poolbar) dort ist ein größerer Pool und man kann auch dort nett sitzen und was essen/trinken. Vielen Dank für die tollen 3 Nächte. Wir wären auch noch länger geblieben.
