This place is peaceful and quiet, and has great hot water showers, a wonderful barista, (Jesse) who makes any coffee drinks imaginable, cold beer 🍺 menu and AWESOME rooms, very spacious with cold AC. I guarantee you will be very comfortable with clean linens,fabulous decor, and one of the most lovely things is the VIP service and it is decorated with a collection of artwork and statues that make you feel like you stepped into a museum collection. I travel all over the planet and it's been one of the best hidden gems I've ever stayed at. It's also a great value!

Kapılarda boşluk olduğu için içeride kertenkeleler ve sinekler vardı. Dışarı çıkarsanda tekrar girebilirler. Ayrıca yatağın arkasında klima motorları vardı. Biz klima açmasak bile diğer motorlar sabaha kadar çalıştı. Gürültü yaptı.

My boyfriend and I were searching for a truly special place to stay in Yogyakarta when we came across Rumah Pesik Heritage Hotel on Booking. Honestly, the photos almost didn’t seem real, how could a place be so elegant, artistic, and rich in history, yet still so affordable? From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly lucky. This is not just a hotel!!! it’s an experience. The building itself is stunning, filled with character and stories in every corner. I genuinely feel there aren’t enough words to describe how special it is to stay here. One of the most remarkable aspects is the art collection. It feels like walking through a museum: from Buddhist sculptures to classical European-style statues, each piece carefully placed to create a unique and harmonious atmosphere. We were told that part of the collection was curated to create a sense of familiarity for an important papal visit, which makes the diversity even more fascinating. Somehow, despite coming from different cultures, everything blends beautifully. As a simple backpacker, I couldn’t believe I was sleeping in a bed with exquisite wood carvings dating back to before Indonesia’s independence… it felt surreal. Breakfast was another highlight. The muesli was honestly the best I’ve had in Southeast Asia!!! fresh yogurt, delicious fruits, and everything prepared with care. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the people. A special thank you to Ershad, who spoke perfect English and went above and beyond; not only explaining the history of the hotel but also helping us explore the city. The entire team was warm, welcoming, and always smiling, making us feel at home from the very first moment. If you have even the slightest appreciation for art, culture, and history, this is the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave. Don’t miss the chance to experience it. Thank you once again for such a memorable stay, we will never forget it.

Alles, was dieses Hotel ausmacht, könnt ihr unten in den Bewertungen nachlesen. Für mich ist es eines der außergewöhnlichsten Hotels, das ich je auf meinem Reisen erlebt habe. Das Personal ist sehr um seine Gäste bemüht. Die Zimmer sind riesig mit sehr guter Klimaanlage. Das Essen im Restaurant umgeben von antiken Möbeln und Statuen schmeckt ausgezeichnet. Ich musste nocheinmal hinfahren um zu sehen das es beim ersten Mal kein Traum war.

Incredible priceless ancient spiritual artifacts such as Buddha’s, Shiva’s, Ganesha’s, Garuda’s; intricate woodwork carvings, breathtaking statues, and art pieces & paintings galore.. This group of amazing temples, guest palaces, magnificent huge guest rooms (filled with ancient & vintage art and furniture from kings and queens, sultans and sultanahs, emperors, and popes!), beautiful gardens, and greenery that encompass Rumah Pesik can’t help but give one the overwhelming feeling of regal opulence, ancient magic, and a peaceful calm and takes one back into time to a place of serene beauty and sophistication. It was and is truly an experience to be had. There is no other place like it on planet Earth. It is literally a living museum that one can stay in that easily rivals both the Louvre and the Smithsonian. Anything who thinks or says less of this place is sorely mistaken.. I know for a fact they are. If you come here make sure to ask about anything and everything you have questions about. The staff is happy to answer all your questions about the priceless art and artifacts…! So do ask them. Especially Mr. Ershad. He’s an extremely kind, intelligent, multi-cultural, super well traveled, highly talented man and even a world class champion athlete! The hotel is beyond lucky to have him. Also, it’s a blessing for anyone to work there as well. The beautiful and kind staff are super blessed and I’m happy for them. They have dream jobs, because they work in a dream………..

The art is a mixture of everything, asian, roman, plastic, nude, kamasutra and overall it was too much
