Royal Inn Suites

Very reasonable room rate with contonental breakfast for 4 in room. Owner/manager even opened pool 2 hours early so granddaughter could swim before we left. Great value.

The hotel hall was dirty. Walls gross. Odd smell.

The hotel is 3 a star at best. Breakfast was junk. Just cereal and yogurt. Just bananas and couple baggies. Room were ok at best first room had stains on the curtain from the ac u it and blankets were water stained. Second room was decent at best.

Crappy WiFi, breakfast was a complete joke. Staff was very attentive but didn’t speak very good English and the old guy didn’t understand English at all and didn’t know what he was doing. English was choppy at best

When I pulled into the lot there was only 1 vehicle there.

Room was updated and clean. Two gentlemen at the desk were nice and welcoming

Window in room 108 does not lock as a single traveler this was concerning to me. There was a 'stopper' so the Window could not be opened all the way but it does open enough and I felt unsafe being on the first floor. You need a stick in the Window for extra security

I love this hotel. The staff is great. The King room with spa tub is exceptional. Have looked in Ft Wayne for a long time for a room like this, and have not found one. The location is convenient and the staff is very accommodating and makes you feel safe.

Could have a few more breakfast items. But they do have yogurt, milk and bagels, which is a nice start to the morning.

Amenities were missing in action. While I understand it is under new ownership, that shouldn't allow you to charge regular price for a difficult stay. No cable during our stay, no breakfast, and if there was, the room was so sad and depressing I wouldn't have ate there. Pool not filled, no vending. Hallways are drab, easy access into building feels unsafe. Incredibly outdated. The standard corner chair in our room was filthy, absolutely disgusting. Stains on the walls, shower doesn't drain properly, fridge wasn't plugged in upon arrival. Very disappointed in our stay. We were visiting someone in the nearby hospital during our stay, so it made trying to unwind at night difficult. If it wasn't 9pm when we checked in I would have shopped around.
