The location of my room. Away from all the chaos and people constantly hanging around the reception area.

There are many people residing at this property. They were constantly gathering in the common areas, making it difficult for other guests to navigate through the corridors. I don't know what was worse, the transient looking people lingering everywhere, or the smell of drugs throughout the entire facility. I will never stay, nor recommend this property to anyone!

Lobby was beautiful and pool as well.

Lot was full of weeds. Man at lobby was friendly but 2 cars in lot gave us a key to a room that had another person in it. Dangerous situation. Got keys to a "new" room and smells like smoke in a "100% Smoke Free" hotel....meanwhile, seeing an ash tray on an AC unit in laundry room full of cigs. Door to room, handle pointed straight down. Put in key card and had to spin the door handle 360 degrees to open. Room felt "wet" and lamp shades had stains of yellow. Went to store and side door had electrical tape holding open the door to side entrance. Decided it was best to leave and ask for refund. Desk man went to room, came back and said "handle is fine and room smells fine." Waited 5 seconds b4 I said, it doesn't and isn't. Gunna need that refund. Proceeded to and apologized. Do NOT STAY HERE.

We liked the size and the cleanliness of our room, laminate floors in our room were clean, the lobby was very impressive as the floors and tables were immaculate, no dust anywhere. It was very dated mid 70's. The bed was very nice and comfortable, it was well worth the cost for 1 night. We were pleased with the room. The pool(indoor) looked so clean and inviting but we had no time to dip.

The overall appearance of the exterior grounds need a lot of TLC. Grass needed mowed, and overgrown weeds trimmed. We parked in the rear for easier access to our room, plastic chairs against the building and trash was strewn alongside the building. The hallway carpet is exhausted, beyond dirty, I am not sure a vacuum would help. The icemaker seemed to be out of ice. The sign we saw as we were leaving indicated the hotel was under new management, I am sure in a few weeks or months this will be a much better experience.

Location was good for me

Couldn't find my reservation, 93 degrees outside and the ac wasn't on in the room prior to checking in, not even on a higher setting so it didn't take 6 hours to cool down, everything was unplugged, refrigerator took for ever to get cold. Ice makers in vending area wear all off until I mentioned it and they were turned on to be used. Like they are saving money on electricity. Ridiculous!

This property has recently been taken over by new owners as of December 2023, and there were some obvious improvements in the decor. The floors have been upgraded in some of the suites, and the lobby has been freshly repainted and is more welcoming. Because they have only been there 6 months, there is still a lot of work to do with painting in bathrooms and landscaping. Most importantly for us on a leisure trip, the pool was working and was sparkling clean!. I would definitely recommend a stay, you can tell the owners care and they are doing their best to make upgrades. For breakfast, there were three or four selections of cereal, bagels, muffins, juice and milk and also yogurt, peanut butter, jelly and cream cheese and butter. There is also fresh fruit, usually apples and bananas. "Coffee" is a Keurig machine so if you need real coffee there is a Starbucks down the street! We stayed in one of the Junior suites, and the view from the second floor was really pretty facing the picturesque pond behind the property. We were visiting family, and this was our third stay there.

Minor issues with decor. The previous owners just had sloppy painting and it's not welcoming when there are obvious strips that are messy. It's mostly doorways and ceiling edges. I had a conversation with the owner and he is very keen on getting it up to a better standard. The other thing that was minor, but annoying was having to ask for more food to be refilled in the breakfast room. I'm not sure if they have a regular maintenance schedule for checking on that yet. There was a nice selection of items but do not expect hot breakfast.

The location was off the beaten path enough that traffic noise was nil. I could hear the burners of hot air balloons as they passed over. It was a very short drive to shopping facilities, restaurants, and the main traveling arteries. Although there was no elevator, the staff graciously offered help getting our luggage to the room.

The items offered in the breakfast bar were plentiful and of good quality. However there was little to offer anyone on a "keto" diet. As a diabetic I found very little to eat that wasn't high in carbs or sugary. Other places I have stayed offered eggs and some sort of meat. This was not a deal killer for me, it was just the only thing that kept my stay from being perfect.
