StateLine Stayovers Extended Stay Hotel

I thought it was a deserted property when I first pull up. I felt unsafe and ended up getting another hotel room elsewhere. I get it was a cheap room but there is still a matter of pride in the ownership of a property. Weeds everywhere in the parking lot. The room wasn’t much better. Window was broken and taped up. I turned around and left.

Although it caught us off by surprise being a motel instead of a hotel, we really enjoyed our stay. They recently did a remodel and did a good job. If you need a last second place to stop for a good price, this place may be for you. Contrary to other reviews, the staff was nice and had no issues.

I've been using hotels.com for a while now this is not the first problem I've had. Set up a room for the night using my hotels.com gift card. Long story short this hotel does not and will not accept the hotels.com gift card however the app claims that it does and allowed me to rent the room with the gift card. I wasted over an hour in the lobby talking to the manager is very disgruntled wife multiple hotel.com Representatives over the internet and over the phone. In the end hotels.com refunded me my gift card amount for the room however that will not go back onto my car for 7 to 15 business days then they told me I could rent the room for $15 more than I had already paid for it but I could only pay for cash and hotels.com said that they would reimburse the difference. There is not a Chase Bank out by that hotel and I wasn't going to pull cash so I left and went to a different Hotel. I made it very clear to each representative from hotels.com to please remove that hotel from the selection that claims it accepts their gift cards. So far on the app it still shows that hotel will accept the gift card. I was exhausted and was not happy about wasting just over an hour standing in a Lobby that does not have any sort of chair or couch to sit down and wait on while the hotel.com Representatives continuously ask me to be patient and wait

Check-in was hard to find and not lit up signs for night time arrival. However, the staff were very nice. I would have rated a little higher, but we wound up killing 1 huge spider and 2 smaller ones. I believe the unit could be exterminated for spiders and bugs. Comfy beds. Microwave and small fridge were convenient. The a/c worked very good & the water pressure, hot & cold were perfect.

lol they didnt clean my room at all the whole nine days I was there . WAS QUITE NO BUGS . It was little bit dirty. . Lady that runs the place is not friendly has a list of rules a mile long . don't lose your key card its a 10 fee after 11 pm its a 20 dollar fee . Gave me a look and lip every time i ask for her paper thin towels or tp. .lip stick on a pig is all i can say about the condition of the room . this place could be a gold mind if only they had the right people that cared and valued there job.

It was quiet

The management is extremely rude, it is very cheap so expectations weren’t very high, but the pictures they post online absolutely don’t match the rooms they actually use. They have roaches and bugs. All of it could’ve maybe been doable (besides the roaches) but the way the manager treated us was completely uncalled for. I will not be returning to this property ever.
