"Incredibly friendly and attentive staff made our stay!"

10.0

We had an amazing stay at Marsenses Natura Olea, the staff were amazing, especially George who was incredibly attentive and made sure everything during our stay was perfect! We highly recommend staying here, the hotel has free paddle board hire which is absolutely fantastic and especially brilliant to watch the sunrise on the waves! We couldn’t thank George enough for a more amazing stay and we would definitely stay again!

"Lovely hotel, great area"

10.0

Our stay was really enjoyable, the hotel staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us (special thanks to George who really looked after us). The area is amazing but make sure you get a plug-in mosquito device, as we just got devoured at night even though we had repellent on!

"A beautiful trip with outstanding service – especially from George!"

10.0

I can’t recommend this hotel enough! Everything from the rooms to the food and the staff made it a really special trip, especially as we were celebrating my dad’s 60th birthday. The staff were all so incredibly friendly and possibly the nicest team i’ve ever experienced in any hotel I’ve stayed in. A special mention has to go to George on reception, he was incredible! He went above and beyond to help make the birthday feel extra special and gave us such helpful advice throughout our stay. He recommended some stunning beaches and great ideas for day trips that really made our holiday even better. The rooms were spotless, modern and really comfortable, and we loved the atmosphere around the hotel. The food was lovely, especially the lunches we enjoyed from the beach bar by the pool. The whole place has a relaxed and welcoming vibe, and we’d happily return. Just one little tip: bring plenty of mosquito repellent, we did get bitten quite a bit. But that’s the only downside in what was otherwise a beautiful holiday. Thanks again to all the team, and especially George, for making our stay so wonderful!

"Amazing experience!"

10.0

Location is great - less than 5min walk to the beach and a short walk into town. Chilled and relaxed vibes both in the restaurant and by the pool - nice and quiet. We booked a standard twin room and it was lovely and spacious with a kitchen and dining area and living area and balcony. The food is amazing! Definitely meets the 4 star rating of the hotel. Breakfast and dinner was always delicious. The cocktails are also great. The pool bar had great options and great value. The staff are very nice and helpful too. We arrived late at night and there was a small food platter for us in our room - lovely touch. Also, if you have an early checkout, you are offered an early breakfast to be prepared for you. It is a great hotel if you want to relax with friends, family or as a couple. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Cala d’Or.

"THE BEST HOTEL IN SPAIN"

10.0

I took a vacation to Spain, visiting Madrid/barcelona, and finally Mallorca. Mallorca was my favorite stop, and I would give 99% of the credit to this hotel and their amazing amenities, staff, and experience. I loved every minute of my stay here, I felt very welcomed and cared for, and found the facilities, bathrooms, pool, rooms, and all parts of the hotel to be in beautiful and clean condition. This truly felt like a luxury experience from start to finish! The restaurant in the hotel is fantastic, I had a couple excellent meals and drinks and the service was great, and my favorite person in the restaurant was Angel! I also want to thank the cleaning staff, specifically Angelly! She was extremely nice and even gave me a recommendation of local food to try, I took her recommendation to try P'amboli, and now I am addicted to this food!! Angelly is the best ! I loved my stay and 100% recommend it to anyone, there is no better value, and NO BETTER HOTEL IN SPAIN!!!

"Loved our stay"

10.0

We had such a fantastic stay at MarSenses Natura Olea that giving anything less than five stars would feel unfair. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The reception team truly rocks it, always smiling, helpful, and quick to sort out anything we needed. They made us feel at home right away and even shared great tips about the area that made our trip more special. The whole place has a calm, relaxed vibe. Our room was spotless, modern and comfortable, with a lovely terrace where we could unwind in the evenings. The pool area was always clean and never felt overcrowded, and the location was just right close enough to walk to the beach and restaurants but still peaceful. Breakfast had plenty of choice and the service everywhere was friendly and attentive. Sure, there are always little things that could be tweaked here and there, but honestly nothing that would take away from such a great experience. We left feeling rested, well looked after and already thinking about when we can come back. Huge thanks to everyone, especially the reception team, you really made the difference for us!

"Disappointing experience.. expected better!"

4.0

We recently spent 10 days at the Marsenses Natura Olea. The location was OK. It was a short walk to the nearest beach Cala Ferrera via quite a few steps..( So be aware of this) and then a short walk to numerous shops and restaurants, which then lead further into the resort of Cala D'Or. The staff were all very friendly, but we unfortunately had to complain about various issues throughout our stay. We were very disappointed with the hotel. It was well below a 4 star standard and definitely not worth the money we paid! It looked amazing in the photos when booking, but when we were actually there, the rooms were actually very basic. It was very misleading, as we were expecting a more luxurious feel for a 4* 'adult only' hotel. My husband and I had a 'superior' room with pool access and my son had a standard single apartment. Our room had literally no storage. Not one drawer to store things. There were a couple of shelves in the wardrobe, but one had a safe on which took up the whole shelf! Another shelf high up for example, was filled with spare duvets on. We ended up having to keep our clothes inside our suitcases on the floor, which wasn't ideal. The bathroom was small and the sink so tiny, with no room to store any toiletries at all. Just about enough room to put a tooth brush! (There are also no extractor fans in the bathrooms in this hotel, so straight away the mirrors steam up when showering) . It is also not very nice, as the lack of extractor fans cause odours to linger. There was an opening window in the bathroom, but with no mesh to stop insects from coming in! There was no dressing table/area to comfortably get ready. Just a long mirror in the bedroom on the wall. My son's apartment was on the ground floor of block C no 102.it was very dark and dingey with no nice view. The bathroom again was very small and hard to manoeuvre in (you had to close one door to then open the shower door.. very awkward! ) , but the sink in this room (which was cheaper than our room) , was actually a bit bigger with a little more space around and there were a few more shelves in this room for storage. There were problems with insects coming into this room. There were millipedes and ants coming in. We reported this to reception and it was immediately cleaned, but the following day they were back again! Apparently, this was a known issue with the ground floor apartments! When we initially complained, we were told the hotel was full and he couldn't be moved, then on the last day of the holiday, he was offered to change room, but by then it was too late, as we were packed up ready to go home. Outside the front of the hotel, there were large square paving slabs. Numerous slabs were cracked and loose and we noticed that bolts were sticking out of them by about 30mm,which was very dangerous. The pools were quite nice and kept clean, but we noticed they did get quite busy quickly. People were reserving sunbeds with towels in the 'exclusive' area and one day there wasn't even enough room for us to use the area, even though we had paid for the exclusive access. We stayed on a B & B basis. The food was adequate, but not a great choice at breakfast and some of the food eg. the eggs, as just warm and not piping hot. There wasn't even any Tomato sauce on display, which is a popular accompaniment for many. We had to constantly ask for it everyday and a little was bought out in a small bowl. One day they actually ran out of it! We expected the standard to be higher for a 4*hotel! Overall, we couldn't fault the staff. They were doing their best to accommodate our needs, but it was out of their control. We wouldn't return to this hotel. Sadly it was too expensive for what we experienced and needs to have numerous issues addressed.

"Loved Our Stay at Olea Hotel"

10.0

Loved Our Stay at Olea Hotel From the moment we arrived, the welcome was amazing. The reception staff were so friendly, and being offered a fresh juice on a really hot day was such a nice touch. Everything we needed to know about the hotel was explained clearly, which made us feel instantly at ease. Our room was fantastic – spotless, super comfortable, and with a brilliant pool view. The pool area was also kept immaculate, with plenty of sunbeds and a great pool bar serving tasty snacks and drinks all day. The restaurant was another highlight – the food was outstanding, and the staff were not only professional but also really warm and friendly. In fact, all the staff we met around the hotel were fantastic and made our stay even better. Honestly, I can’t fault a thing. The hotel, staff, and facilities were all excellent – we absolutely loved it and would definitely come back! Another added touch was the free Paddle Boards which we took down to the beach.

"Could be good, but isn’t."

4.0

We returned from our holiday yesterday having spent a week at Marsenses Natura Olea. Firstly I have to mention the ladies on reception who were excellent and Javi in the restaurant who kept everything running smoothly and was sorely missed on his day off when everything descended into chaos. The food, according to my husband, is good but as with all buffets, repetitive. Vegetarians and vegans will struggle, as I did. Serving spoons used for meat dishes are also used for vegetarian offerings which quite often contained fish. The chef seemed to think vegetarians ate fish!! This is where the positives end unfortunately. The room, on first impression looks pretty good however it soon becomes apparent that the refurbishment has not been done well. The bathroom is the size of a broom cupboard with a sink so small you can’t wash properly, not helped by the placing of a hairdryer in the exact spot which would give the best position to at least attempt to wash. No magnifying mirror which is standard and absolutely nowhere to put anything. We improvised by placing a coffee table just outside the bathroom and using it to place toiletries. The most ridiculous part of the entire room is zero storage. You can hang clothes (plenty of hangers) but that is it. We had to use our suitcases for underwear, swimwear, t-shirts etc. as there isn’t a single drawer. The bedside tables could so easily be drawers and beneath the TV in the living room is a large empty space which could accommodate a chest of drawers. A pretty room is no substitute for a complete lack of practicality. On arrival we were informed that the in room safe would cost an extra three euros per day. Having travelled all over the globe for fifty years, never before have we paid extra to use a safe. Disgraceful. We had upgraded to a private pool access room. If you value peace and quiet avoid this and use the general pool. Every day a waterfall is switched on at one end and a deafening jacuzzi at the other. Neither can be switched off by guests so all day you are subject to this appalling racket. Because of this we only used the pool we had paid extra for once, when for an hour this din had not been switched on. As soon as the guy remembered and decided to yet again to ruin the tranquility of the area we left. Money completely wasted. The bar closes around 6pm so nowhere to sit after dinner. We went to the hotel a little way along the road which has a fabulous rooftop bar. This I can recommend, you won’t be disappointed. This hotel could be a decent four star however it is, in reality, a poor three star. It needs to stop trying to look good at the expense of a positive guest experience.
