Super luxe hotel. Je krijgt echt waar voor je geld. Heerlijke bedden en goed uitgebreid ontbijt. Mooie poolbar.

Excellent hotel

Lovely spacious accomodations (we got a view of the beach which was a bonus). An outstanding breakfast buffet and stunning infinity pool on top floor (also the indoor pool was a bonus after 10pm when infinity pool shuts ;-)! We stayed one night before heading out on our overnight Cruise, then returned for a one more night before heading to Ninh Binh. We did this so we could leave luggage there while we cruised Ha Long Bay, and ... to visit Dragon Park on the Friday afternoon for 4 hours (PS: Dragon Park is well worth it for any rollercoaster fanatics!) Can't fault the A La Carte thou. Staff were good, helpful with transport bookings and laundry. It's pretty much a stand alone hotel situation (with nothing much around it - ie: you don't have to leave!) There is a convenience store on ground floor, a restaurant and a bar. So if that is your thing, it's a good option for you. We needed a few easy/spacious nights without having to make decisions as we were half way through our Vietnam adventure, and it worked out perfectly for us!

das Zimmer war großartig - sehr groß, neu und modern. das Bett war such extrem bequem.

Wasser in der Dusche läuft nicht gut ab. es gibt 2 Restaurants (eigentlich), wobei das eine sehr schlechte Bewertungen hat, daher wollten wir zum anderen, welches aber während unseres ganzen Aufenthaltes geschlossen war. Mangels Alternative gingen wir in das mit den schlechten Bewertungen und können diese leider nur bestätigen. Haben 2 Pizzen bestellt, dies waren eindeutig Tiefkühlpizzen mit sehr billiger Qualität. Auch das Frühstück war in diesem Restaurant eher mangelhaft - es war viel leer und hat ewig gedauert, bis etwas nachgefüllt wurde. Die Gegend ist leider sehr ausgestorben und die wenigen Restaurants in der Umgebung waren geschlossen oder hatten ebenfalls kaum oder schlechte Bewertungen. Das Personal spricht außerdem sehr schlecht englisch. Verbesserungspunkt: besserer Haarföhn
