I’ve stayed in about 20 hostels, and this was by far the worst. The bathrooms were revolting—strong urine smell, overflowing bins full of used toilet paper (many with visible feces), and phlegm, and beard shavings in the sinks. In this part of Da Nang, you cannot flush toilet paper (which I understand), but management wasn’t emptying bins often enough, making it extremely unhygienic and stomach-turning. Beds were very uncomfortable, cob webs on the ceiling, and I woke up both mornings with a sore throat—likely from mould or poor ventilation. The AC wasn’t cold enough, so I sweated all night with no visible option to turn it down. First night: packed dorm of ~24 people, multiple alarms going off repeatedly between midnight and 2 a.m.—zero decent sleep. I only booked because everywhere else was sold out in peak season, and they double prices then. I wouldn’t recommend this place until the serious sanitation issues (especially bathrooms) are fixed. Avoid if you can!

The staff (although they don’t speak very much English) were very nice, they let me leave my luggage and allowed me to early check in, all in all a very good experience. The location is very nice as well

Very large dormitories with only a few bathrooms - so always queueing. the pool is not like in the pictures, you don't want to swim in it. because of the food that is sold in front of the hostel, it smells unpleasantly of smoke throughout (is sold by the family of the operator) the entire hostel is not really clean. also a really small really hot social area- so basically no one is socializing because of that

In the women’s dorm, I was on the top bunk and found that the bed didn’t make any noise when I moved which is great. There were also two bathrooms in the room which was helpful.

There isn’t a partition between the shower and toilet, so be ready to get your feet wet. Also it has so much potential for it to be a lot more social but I found that to not be the case. No tours as well on offer.
