We actually stayed at Chum Boutique twice during our Vietnam trip - once on the way down the coast from Hanoi to Hoi An, and then again after returning from our Phong Nha trek the night before flying to HCMC. Both stays were excellent. The location is amazing - only about a 5-minute walk to the river and markets, or even quicker by Grab or electric scooter. It felt close to everything including the Imperial city, while still being quiet and relaxing. The rooms are absolutely beautiful with polished concrete finishes, velvety curtains, a stunning clawfoot bathtub, and separate toilet and shower areas - and if you’ve been travelling around Vietnam for a while, you know what a luxury that is! The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with anything we needed. They also gave us some fantastic food and activity recommendations during our stays. Thank you for such an amazing experience both times. We would 100% recommend staying here when visiting Hue.

No fridge in the room

Location was perfect. We stayed in the Superior room for the first night & the room was super spacious.

The bathroom in the superior room was roomy, then we stayed in the twin share for the 2nd night & there was very little space - it was a little too exposed for my comfort. But each to their own.
