Tung Quang Hotel

The hotel was quiet enough and was away from the major construction sites. It’s a 10 minute walk to most of the restaurants.

Breakfast was pretty limited and not very good. The hotel is generally rundown and in a state of decline. It does not look like the pictures. Furthermore, there is no gym, which was a big disappointment. Our shower was not fully functional and leaked water all over.

We have had a great experience at this hotel. The staff is amazing, and communication was perfect! If you need anything, you can always contact them through WhatsApp, and it doesn't matter how late it is. his services were outstanding!

The staff at the hotel is absolutely amazing, organize everything for us, transport to tour, was such a wonderful services! Breakfast was included and is delicious!

Le personnel est très impersonnel justement ! Pas très aidant si vous avez besoin et assez inexistant... Difficile aussi de communiquer avec eux car ils ne sont pas souvent présent, difficile aussi de se faire comprendre même en anglais...

Nam was absolutely amazing as a host from the start of my holiday planning right up to the end of our trip. He is fantastic at logistics, knowing the right people and giving fantastic advice. He was amazing at explaining the difference between Halong Bay and Lan Ha bay and giving great advice on how to plan my holiday. He sorted us a booking on a fantastic new one day cruise through Halong Bay along with all of the transport to get to Cat Ba from the cruise, on paper there was no logistical way but Nam found one. It involved an amazing sequence of speedboats through the Bay at night, such an adventure. His hotel was wonderfully located, near to a local wet market and lake. Breakfasts provided were delicious. He assisted us with a laundry service. Restaurant recommendations were spot on. Nam looks after his guests so well. I highly recommend this accommodation, if they have availability, don't hesitate to book it! I don't think that anywhere else in Halong Bay can compare.

Really helpful chap on the desk spoke good English and booked our boat trip and bus at the end of our stay. Clean comfy room and nice breakfast.
