The resort has comprehensive facilities - free spa daily, many games, tennis court, small football pitch, free buggy service, kayak and surfing equipment etc. Staff was very friendly and nice. Our room was spacious and clean and the view was fantastic. Subject to our comments below, everything else was satisfactory and good value for money. The hotel was very creative during Tet and gave us some nice Tet dessert. We also enjoyed participating in some Tet activities.

The spa booking process created a lot of stress for what should otherwise be a relaxing experience. The slots are often booked out way in advance, and we were not asked to indicate our preferred time slots before arriving at the resort. It became quite stressful because there were literally only one or two slots left every day for the five days we were staying, and we have had to change many plans to work around the spa times (otherwise we wouldn't be able to attend any session). Speaking of the spa, the massage chairs are very squeaky and some are not very clean - we saw lipstick on the headrest! It has not always been the most relaxing place since the spa was extremely busy, and we were ushered around in a lot of haste and rush. The list of activities at the resort is not easy to find. It is scattered all over the website and leaflets and one has to spend a lot of time figuring out which is which, especially during Tet. A consolidated timetable of all the activities would have helped. The towels in the bedroom were not of the best quality. Cotton hairs came off and stuck to my face after use. I also developed a nose allergy after moving the curtains. A minor point is there are two water taps in the bathroom but only one handwash bottle, making it rather inconvenient at times. Location wise it is rather far from the city centre, and calling Grab taxis was actually quite a lot more expensive than we thought. It was around 250,000 VND to 350,000 VND to the city centre each time and more expensive coming back. We thought the resort offered shuttles but it turned out on the first day we were told that shuttles had been fully booked for the entire week!! That was not very satisfactory. The breakfast was very good, except that there were sometimes long queues at the restaurant in the morning. During one of our meals, some guests were asking the waiters why we were occupying a large table while they were queuing, which indirectly gave us pressure to leave.
