BIGGS NU-VU MOTEL

Quiet and reasonable.

Wonderful, clean, updated motel at a fair price. Cute rooms and very helpful and friendly staff. Beds were average- not the best but better than most motels in this price range. The area is very noisy with traffic and trains- ear plugs were good enough for me to get a great night of sleep. Highly recommend.

Room in a dark hole, little daylight

Convenient location. Has a view of the river. Unfortunately looks over the railroad tracks and train noise can be heard. I liked that the room had a mini fridge included.

The location was fine, except it was very close to the railroad tracks so we got to enjoy the noise of trains passing during the night

The bathroom door wouldn’t close. Manager had our reservation screwed up. We had reserved three rooms for two nights and he only had two available.

The room was clean

No safety rails in shower. Refused to give me a receipt for the rent. Mattress sits on sheet metal that makes loud popping noises whenever you move. Coffee maker in room did not work

The front counter person was very nice

They checked us into a dirty room , that still had food in it..then switched us to another room that was not much cleaner.. I had to clean the toilet myself because it was so dirty

Everything was great

This was a crash pad for us, and it sufficed fine. The room is dark and dingy, but clean enough (not spotless by any means). Parking felt secure enough, though we didn’t leave anything in the vehicle. Bed was comfortable and the shower was hot; towels were slightly better than most cheap motels. There is just scented body wash, so if you’re not into that, BYO soap. The website doesn’t say it, but the room did have a microwave and fridge. If you need an evening walk, go to the state park. It’s free and there are lovely riverside trails. There is only fast food available, or check out the really good Indian food trucks. I paid about $100, and honestly it was a $60 room experience, lol.
