Motel Bear Lake

Very cute boho setting, clean and convenient location for near by site seeing.

It was adorable and my stay could not have been smoother. Definitely would stay again and recommend to friends

Clean room and comfortable bed. Nice swimming pool. Cons Stayed in room twenty that is on the end next to the highway. Truck traffic was annoying at night and they bumped on the potholes in the highway

Check in was super easy and efficient. Owners were very quick to respond with a question. Room was very clean and nicely updated. Beds were comfy wr enjoyed our stay!!

We enjoyed the quaintness of this motel. It was clean and mostly comfortable - the beds were comfortable but one arm of the couch was loose or broken. After booking but before our arrival I found additional details about the property including the fact that it was cannibas friendly. Unfortunately upon checkin we noticed a reasonably strong marijuana odor in the room, which I had hoped would not be the case. It’s possible that I missed this detail upon booking the room but I would certainly recommend that we this detail be clearly communicated when booking. We were traveling for a family trip with our teenage son and we are not a “cannibas friendly” family.

Very nice place to stay. Old school vibes! Room was perfect. Pool was great and right outside your door, and Bear Lake with small swimming area within walking distance. If your a boater, I noticed, plently of lake access. 15 minutes to downtown Manistee & lake Mi.
