It was clean, cozy, comfortable, and quiet. Perfect for my husband and I to get away and have an adult weekend. We will definitely be back!

Very quiet, great location, dog friendly motel.

Was in town to kayak and the motel was like 5 minutes away from the shuttle so it was very conveniently located. Room was clean. Shower was nice. Bed was comfy. Only complaint I have is the walls are very thin and when the neighbors checked in kinda late with their energetic kid, well there was no sleeping through that. If they insulated the rooms a bit better, id have given it 5 stars. Also, while we didnt go into dorchester (so i could be wrong) i didnt see a gas station in town on google maps, so make sure you plan accordingly.

Sweet rustic environment, sturdy and attractive furnishings

Love the cabin feel of the motel. Only thing I noticed was you could really hear everything going on in the neighboring room. Wakes must be very thin but there really isn’t much you can do with that now except a remodel. I would definitely stay again, place was great

We enjoyed our brief stay at this motel. It was very clean and warm. The beds had new mattresses, so they were uncomfortable.

This property is a very good value. Very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. I've stayed there many times and the new owner has invested time and money to make this property the place to stay in NE Iowa.
