Budget Host Alexandria

The advertised 10-minute walk from the nearest metro was over a half hour long and is on very busy 8-line highways. I arrived just after 9:00 pm to a closed hotel and called the reception several times but no one answered. My repeated attempts to reach Hotel.com were equally futile. At 10:00 pm, I had to search for accommodations.

room smelled like an ashtray, black mold all over bathroom, bed was lumpy and saggy. worst room ever and i've stayed in a shed before

The area is sketchy. We showed up around 730PM and no one was at the desk, we had to call the number on the sign, the office worker came out and let us in. Gave us a door code. The office worker was friendly and helpful but that's about all the good I can say. The mattress, blankets, and carpet had holes in them. The room smelled like smoke, even though we requested a smoke-free room. The room we had seemed mostly clean. There was a loose utilities panel close to the bed revealing a hole in the wall. Just one towel and it was dingy. The doors and windows do not appear secure, the doors have a digital code for locking, but the door is not solid, it feels loose inside the door frame.They didn't place trash cans inside the room. The microwave and fridge seemed reasonably clean. We did not see any mice or creepy-crawlies but the room gave us a bad feeling. We left. Not recommended unless you have low standards...

The space is definitely older. It was not completely clean, some spots on the desk and TV stand as well as some spots on the wall. I ended up sleeping on top of the comforter as the sheets were not completely white. The older furniture was damaged, the light switch was broken, and it seemed like a space where the homeless were staying when they could afford to. No TV or any electronics in the rooms. No trash cans in the room. It is what it is for the cost, but I would not choose to stay again.

This motel is cheap and Public near by .

The place was great for the money

I was there to check in but the property was closed, after calling multiple numbers, no one picks up and I had to arrange another hotel in the night. I need refund immediately.

Good stay excellent WiFI

No, just no! On the third day of my stay, my $40 240w type c charger was stolen from my room. Trust me it gets worse! Dog hair on the carpets and sofa. Cigarette burns in the couch. On the last day of my stay, I saw a cockroach. Of course by it being a prepay rate, the hotel would not refund. I repeat do NOT stay here you have been warned!

Room was very dirty, and property had multiple homeless people hanging out front and knocking on the doors
