Bathroom was a shoebox. But space was clean

Old motel with a nice staff. Good for a night or two.

A nice little motel that was sufficient for my stay in State College. Very close to the university and grocery store.

Room decent. Clean. Poor wifi on 2nd floor.

The location from Main campus Penn State could not be better! Front desk is very nice. I only took off stars because the rooms are very outdated and even the one that said non smoking smelled like smoke. I still slept very well.

Dated but clean and sufficient

Three of us stayed for two nights for a sporting event in the area. Prior reviews stated the motel was clean but unfortunately, our experience wasn't the same. Our room smelled like smoke/mustiness to the point my daughter felt nauseous. There were stains on the walls of the bathroom and the bedding. Occupants of rooms next door were drinking and loud outside on Sat night which made our family feel unsafe. The woman at the front desk was friendly and very helpful but we won't stay here again.

Sits next to Waffle Shop so it’s convenient for breakfast.

It has two nice double beds.

First- the lady at the desk is indeed very kind, lovely and tries to be accommodating with what they have. But, Yikes! I knew this was a reasonably priced motel…. But it did have good reviews when I looked. We didn’t experience the same things as others apparently. There were to be 6 of us traveling. Luckily, I suppose, only 5 of us came. When I entered the cluttered, hot and “scented” small office, I was greeted by a woman who didn’t look like the owners pictures posted to TripAdvisor. She informed me that even though I called and had an email confirmation for the room with three double beds, they gave it away to construction workers. They luckily had a room available still with two double beds and she added a cot. She told me because of the mishap, she’d “lower the price”. However, the price she told me was the price listed online for the double room. Yes, it was lower, but that’s because it had two beds not three. She wasn’t lowering the price because of the mishap. After she charged my credit card, and I asked for two cots (she said two wouldn’t fit), she did offer another room free of charge…. But they weren’t next to each other and we’d have to separate our family. It was indeed a nice gesture, but we declined. The room probably was nice in the 1960’s. But this place is rough! The air conditioner seems like it could be an electrical hazard. There is a mini frig and a microwave as well as a smart tv. We were grateful for that. The bathroom was tiny. But, grateful they had shampoo and soap packets. The problem was that there were towels and supplies for two people and there were 5 of us. The icing on the cake is that the room smelled like a legit nursing home. Luckily we had gone to a car wash prior in the day and we had an air freshener to hang on the lamp. Know that we aren’t snobs when we travel. We camp in tents. But, this is a pretty rough place. I will say the beds and pillows were nice. What towels were there, were nice. Soft. And clean. The shower had nice water pressure
