WINDTREE INN

Checked in last night 10/21/23 it was late we got to the room and opened the door it smelled so bad we had to run the air with no extra cover to mask the odor, the bath tub looked like someone peed in the tub it wasn't clean then we were afraid to sleep on the bed, we lost our cold stuff cause we weren't told our microwave or refrigerator doesn't work. We chose to stay cause it was to far to go anywhere else we had already drove 3 hours and it was 1130 at night but we won't stay here again I would rather go 40 more miles and be able to shower and keep our stuff cold than pay this price just for a bed The washcloth on the shower was not ours

It was a nice stay in the town. The staff was very friendly and offered me authentic cuisine if it’s available when I return. We were originally camping at a nearby lake but due to inclement weather we had to get a room. Probably won’t be the last time so I’m looking forward to some good eats!

Like many of these places there were a few cats running around. While they do keep rodents at bay I’m unfortunately very allergic to them.

Very quite and clean. The manager is very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay.

Cute little hole in the wall inn. Friendly staff. Very clean! Bed was comfy and sheets were very soft. Easiest check of my life! The clerk called us by name with out even being told who we were at check out and was extremely approachable! Will definitely stay here again in our travels! Thank you guys so much!
