WINDTREE INN

The room was as shown in the picture. Basic room with a king size bed. The decor was from the 1990's, needs updating. But the price was good for my one night and the staff at the front desk were very helpful.

Basic place to lay your head down. Everything is old. Reasonably clean. Soap and shampoo made in China. Friendly younger dude at the counter. Outside looks pretty rough. Sticky tv remote. Not sure where you could get breakfast in town.

When we arrived, the owner was very helpful and friendly. The room was a little outdated, but very clean and comfortable. Water pressure in shower was great. When I realized the room did not have a hair blower and called the office, the owner brought their personal one to the room for me to use.

The good is the A/C, Shower, TV Channels, and Quitness of the area.The bad was the need for spraying and pressure washing the exterior walls/doors. Also the concrete outside need pressure washed and painted. The rugs outside are of no use if the area for wiping shoes is worn out.

Room was ok but very out dated,,would be happy with a price of $39.95 but not the $65,00 we paid,T.V was a old dog,it was a cold night and the heater was not the best,,the place needs some up dates,,and it was just at dark when we found the place and NO lights on to show us it was even there found it by accident ,,maybe nive place in the summer,,if the A/C works

Well was in the Grove Hill / Whatley area again.......and once again Jay and his staff were very accommodating and helpful.....was in area from 16 December 2017 thru 28 December 2017......room was clean and had microwave and fridge.....I know it's off the main drag.....but, if in area give them a shot.......Thanks again......Jay

Motel is older but my room was clean, quiet, with WiFi and good tv selections. Very adequate for a business traveler like myself. Conveniently located between Thomasville and Jackson Al. Owners very nice. Family owned business. Will return again

Nice family-run motel. Dated exterior but our room had all of the amenities and was very comfortable. Great personal service. Good location close to the historic district and the Clarke County Museum.

Was back in the Grove Hill / Whatley area.........04 June 2017 - 14 June 2017.....and once again stayed @ Windtree Inn......Owner Jay was very accommodating........even when I had to add more days to my visit and get work done to my vehicle......he was very helpful.....it's an older hotel........but room was clean and it was quiet..........if you are in that area give them a shot........
