"Perfect stopover"

Stayed the night here after moving our daughter into EWU housing. Mike was helpful with the later check in, food options, and local accommodations. Room was easy to find, access and incredible clean. The mini fridge and microwave were a nice treat. The hotel is right off I-90 and easy to access. It is next to the train so if train noises bother you, bring earphones (we are not troubled by train wistles)

"Cute motel in 1950s style town"

Nice clean well maintained motel. The town is cute but not much to do after 6 pm. There is an electric car charger within 5 minutes walk of the motel. There are lots of vintage cars from the 1950s parked around the town. Definitely good for photos. The local store closes at 8 pm and the only restaurant closes at 6 pm, plan ahead for food. There’s a selection of very reasonably priced snacks at the motel, microwave meals, cookies and chips. The train runs nearby so there is noise now and again but it seemed to stop around 11 am and start again at 5 am. Maybe wear ear plugs if your a light sleeper. My family slept well. This was a good stop on our journey from Canada to Oregon.
