Sprague Motel

The staff was wonderful. We had rented the room for my daughter and her bridesmaids. We couldn’t find our corsage pins. The owner walked over to her residence and got her sewing pins to give to us. We did find them eventually, but she was so kind and generous. The only complaint was the water pressure in the bathroom sink was not good. It’s not particularly modern, but very clean and quiet. The beds were a bit firm.

This was our last stop on a 6000 mile round trip and we were exhausted! We booked the family room with 4 queen beds. There was plenty of space and a full fridge. Just what we needed! Only complaint, the train tracks are close and the whistle is loud!

They had 9 rooms in the main motel for rent. We had told them through booking.com that we would be traveling with a dog. There was no heat in the room and they didn't check it. When we complained they wouldn't switch us to a different room even though there were 7 empty rooms. They did provide a slow oil radiator space heater that got the room heated up to our comfort level at 1:30 AM. I would not recommend the motel to someone traveling with a pet.

Well, the check in was such a horrible experience that we decided not to stay. Our son tried to get a separate room than us, and the clerk refused to give him a room. Even after we explained that we had our separate Hotels.com room than his, she still rudely refused him a room. We went to a different hotel. Later, the person who was going to check in after us was seen out our alternate hotel. So that clerk LOST 3 ROOMS that night with her rudeness and poor service.

30 minutes south of Spokane, Washington, this property is perfect for a large family. (Booked the Junior Suite— 2 Queen & 1 King) Train is nearby, so hope that no one is a light sleeper. The walls are thin too, but neighbors are courteous with sound. The town is extremely small, no restaurants are available in the evening, plan to dine elsewhere for dinner. There is one market in town, however you will need to stick with frozen food if going that route. The pricing for the room was more than reasonable compared to surrounding areas. Had a family member graduate from University of Idaho and the prices in Moscow and Pullman were astronomical. Room was clean, had to ask for more towels which was no issue with front desk. Even requested an iron and board, they had one! Looking for a place to sleep without breaking the bank, this is the place for you!

Clean unit, fast internet. friendly manager, easy late check-in process. Location away from the hustle and hassle of Spokane. Interesting town.

The property is easy to get to and the people are friendly. Trains go by and blow their whistle during the night so I'd recommend bringing earplugs.
