If checkout is until 11:00 am and it's 9-Something then there's no need to knock on my door. I watch the news so I know what can happen if we just open the door "casually" just because somebody is knocking... so I don't take it like is "nothing", especially in certain areas of Town and MOST specially after the guests next door just got thru having big DRAMA right there in the parking lot. (Bad for business!) So yes, I always think is "bad news" when hotels don't have DND Signs, because then I guess that means they can "come knocking" whenever they want. And while I can see in some cases they may need to do that, it doesn't make sense to bother the guy that just came in last night and is getting ready to Leave this morning and has until 11:00am, I would've had the DND Sign on! Other than that the rooms themselves are pleasant enough, only thing is that this was my 2nd room I've stayed at and again the AC didn't stop on its own when it reached the temperature..it just keeps going & going until you manually have to turn it off and therefore you also manually have to turn it back on. It seems like "no biggie" but when we rent a room we expect "the basics" to be working just fine. If you charge the same as "the chains" then also have everything working the same. Thank you!
