Broadway Inn Motel

The bedroom was large, the beds were clean. The shower and toilet worked well. Easy to access rooms. The maintenance staff was very friendly and helpful.

The front desk staff refused to give us any extra towels (just wanted one extra). The fridge was very noisy. No toiletries provided beyond toilet paper. Beds were leaning. No batteries in the tv remote. Slippery bathroom floor after a shower. The toilet was squeezed into a corner of the bathroom.

All in all, it wasn't bad. I had an issue and wanted to change hotel. The establishment had already charged for my entire prebooked stay and insisted on its NO REFUND policy. But they did ultimately fix the issue. The room was fairly large and clean and appears to have a new coat of paint and new retiling in the bathroom. There is a big Latin supermarket next door with a taco bar and panaderia. There is a surprising amount of interesting food (Puerto Rican, Jamaican, regional Mexican, BBQ, Korean ... ) - within walking distance, which is great because I was without car and very unusual for San Antonio, but it's still Texas and pedestrian-unfriendly so walk with extreme caution. San Antonio has not bad public transportation, and there are stops right near the motel (though crossing Austin Hwy, again, is difficult for a pedestrian). Despite my initial problem, I might come back here.

The chair and ottoman had scary stains. I never sat in it! In a questionable remodel, the sink is moved out of the bathroom and into the main room - but you have to go into the bathroom for the towels. There is absolutely nothing to hang anything on by the sink or in the room in general or even in the bathroom (just a towel rack). TV reception was bad. It might be satellite based and we were having bad weather.

It was comfortable and clean. I was just looking for a place to sleep and take a shower in the morning and that’s exactly what I got. Nothing fancy but it worked great.

I reserved my room online and the process in person was quick and easy.

This place was amazing, and the staff was great.. Apparently this an older motel... The remodeling job outstanding.. O' and very quiet... i highly recommended this facility if your working a budget and plus no deposit required 😉...a great place...

I ask if i could stay till 12:00 ... But check out is at 11:00 .. i work late tihat night

The staff, he was smiling with white people and had an attitude the black people. His demeanor was prejudice.

I enjoy the area it's big, clean roomy rooms. Easy quick checkin.. beds are comfortable..

The construction that the city is doing right in front..

Room was decent for the price, outdated interior etc, but you are not staying at a fancy place. It was pretty good to sleep in, no bed bugs no visible stains, working fridge, has a microwave & tv that we did not use and slept well.

It did have a couple of dead roaches, but it didn't bother us since they were dead and I would hope its due to pest control. You can take that with a grain of salt and it'd be a good place to stay for the value, location & good sleep.
