Four Horsemen Hotel

This is just a no-frills hotel. I was on a fishing trip with (3) other guys and the hotel served it's purpose. AC was cold, shower had hot water and drained well, beds were comfortable, room was clean, TV had several channels to view..

We stayed here this past weekend to attend a wedding nearby. We had a double King room. I'll start with the postives first. The room itself was very cute and clean. The bed was super comfy and the linens were soft. Pillows were nice and fluffy. The room had a fridge, microwave, and Keurig with coffee and tea. The staff was very friendly, and the room location was convenient. The motel was full, but it was still very quiet, and I could hear no road noise at all. OK, if I had to nitpick the room, I would say that the bathroom fixtures could use some updating. But everything in my room worked fine. Things kind of fell apart the next morning at breakfast (which is included with your stay). I should have taken a hint by the fact that, even though the motel was full, we were pretty much the only people eating the free* breakfast. (*Coffee, not included.) My second clue should have been when the waitress walked in with a bag from McDonalds. Wow, not a good impression for your employer. (I could tell she really didn't want to be there, anyway.) But, we soldiered on and ordered anyway. Pancakes. How can you mess them up? Well, you can. They were tough and burned. The eggs were cooked to death. The sausage was pretty good. I was scared to try the bacon. So, if you're looking for a clean quiet motel in Pilot Point, this is a great place. Just get breakfast somewhere else.

This was a small hotel, shower didn't work, there was carpet tacks exposed on the floor. Every time I got up and stepped on them. Staff was nice, but office closes at 9:00. Was giving a breakfast coupon for the restaurant next door, food was not very good. Just was not really like the place at all .

My fiancé and I drove from Austin to WinStar Casino for some birthday fun, but unfortunately did not stay at the resort due to reservation issues. So I googled a nearby hotel with high ratings and came across two in particular: LaQuinta Inn and Four Horsemen Travel Lodge. So we decided on Four Horsemen Travel Lodge in Pilot Point, which neither one of us even heard of, but we were extremely pleased. Even the drive there was a beautiful sight to see. 1. We were greeted by the owner, John, who was very personable, welcoming and kind. 2. The room was soooooo cozy, spacious and clean. Some people prefer to visit some fancy overpriced hotel, but we were happy to rest our heads at a place that almost felt like home. You sleep much better, I think. 3. Also, my fiancé was amazed at how many channels were available on the TV. 4. The reservation included complimentary breakfast, which tasted like a home cooked meal. :) We certainly intend to make this place a part of future road trip plans. Thanks again, John!! We look forward to visiting this cozy place in the future.

Stayed at the Four Horsemen Lodge for the first time this past weekend. Very nice place to stay. Was in the area for a bass tournament and they have good parking for boats with outside electrical hookups to keep your batteries charged. The rooms are spacious and very clean. I will stay here again.

This was our second visit to the Four Horsemen Lodge. Same as the first time . . . . wonderful! The room was up to date and CLEAN! John was able to accomodate us to a room where we could leave our boat attached to the truck and see it. I loved the king size bed as it was very comfy! Don't hesitate to stay here at all! Also, we had dinner at the Pilot Point Cafe next door and it was EXCELLENT!

I was pleasantly surprised at this place. It was the only place in the tiny town of pilot point and the name caused pause It was clean, spacious, nice extras like good quality soaps, towels, linens, etc. had a fridge that was cold and a microwave too. Very nice management. Oh and they throw in a fresh hot breakfast at the diner next door.

Clean, spacious, quiet. Helpful owner and staff, great pool, tub and shower, large bathroom, dependable internet, close to some decent places to eat, comfy beds, frig and microwave...you get the idea. I was expected, so the AC was already on on a day when it hit 100F.

My wife and I attended her sons wedding at Lantana Resort. The resort was booked. The desk clerk, Sara, told us to try the FOUR HORSEMEN TRAVEL LODGE in Pilot Point, Texas. We were totally blown away by the hospitality, the cleanliness and, above all, the ACCOMMODATIONS. A QUEEN SIZE BED, two night stands, a very large dresser and a 32" TV in ONE OF THE ROOMS. Yes, I noted ONE OF THE ROOMS. There were TWO rooms. The second room and a coffee pot, micro-wave and a refrigerator. I cannot forget the extra large SOFA and coffee table that faced the 42" TV. YES----2 Televisions. In this room next to the TV was DVD player and 16 of the top movies. I guess what really made this extra special, was the staff new we were coming and had about 4 hours notice. They still managed to have a GIFT BASKET and a PERSONALIZED NOTE thanking us for choosing the FOUR HORSEMEN TRAVEL LODGE in PILOT POINT, TEXAS. Should you need to travel to the Dallas area and want a =very clean, quiet, and comfortable place...THIS IS THE PLACE.
