It was the last place in town.

We reserved a queen room (2queen beds) for my brother and me. I didn't get into town until after 5 pm. They gave away all the rooms except for one king (1king size bed). When I went to go question the desk clerk, she refused to even look at my reservation. She said, "It's the last room. You take it or I give you refund." Being the last room in town, I had no choice but to take it. The bed spread is stained with what I hope is chocolate. The toilet leaks water onto the floor. The floor was dirty. Dead bugs in the room. Tub and shower curtain dirty. It was just gross. I will not be staying here again.

The property was very basic

The hotel was very clean. The pillows were so soft. The area is beautiful. We will be coming back here.

I liked the location and the gentleman in the front was very nice.

We arrived late in the evening (around 11 pm) to check-in. You cannot go inside. They have the door locked and you have to use a "night-window". No one was coming to the window, despite my husband pushing the doorbell button. I finally had to call the number on my Expedia reservation for someone to come to the front. The hotel is a little rundown. You can tell they tried to update some things, but the work is sloppy (i.e., there was a hole in the ceiling in the bathroom area of our room). I will say, it seems like they upgraded the beds, which was a huge plus. The beds and the pillows were excellent, and there were 3 beds in our room, which was very accommodating for our family of 4 + 2 dogs. The beds make up for anything else that I may not have liked, given that we only needed to be there to sleep for 1 night. Checkout was easy, and they allow pets, which was a huge plus for us.
