The Valley Inn

Customer service was excellent, they are in the process of improving the property cant wait to see finished product!

My room was on the back of the building facing the creek, so it was quiet. The room is what you would expect for a motel. Very humid/damp in June. I thought the room was worth the price. The person in the office was very nice and helpful. I had a utility trailer with my vehicle, and he offered to switch my room so I could be closer to the parking lot to see my car/trailer. I declined, but appreciated the thought.

A place to sleep barely

Very old and run down facility. Sofa type bed frame. Damp and smelly. Pillows were splotchy yellow stained. One bedside table. Used the sink at bed side on other side. Lighting was bad. Can’t believe it had ratings of exceptional.

The staff was very rude...

The owners of the property were wonderful. We were easily able to check in a night early without hassle. The owners were very pleasant. The pricing was affordable and fair for the conditions and location.

The Hot Tub was Broken and Drained and the Indoor Pool was not Heated and Freezing Cold.

The owners are super friendly and helpful. We traveled with 2 dogs and they were very accommodating and pet friendly. The little river in the back is a little slice of heaven. Also they’re in the process of updating the rooms one by one. And the updated rooms are gonna very nice. We liked it so much and the little town of Maggie valley we stayed an extra night.

We have always loved to stay here when we come to Maggie. Great quiet stay.

Very outdated. Not at all like the reviews. Wasn’t expecting a lot but this was very disappointing compared to the reviews. Not even close to the ratings it had. Owner was nice and friendly.
