The Valley Inn

The Valley Inn is our go-to when visiting Maggie Valley. We stay here at least 3 times a year. It’s always clean, comfortable, and affordable. The owners (Andy & Linda) are the nicest couple you will ever meet and they work hard to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Their staff is also always friendly and accommodating.

Fabulous Inn in the hills of Maggie valley. Gazebo, fire pit an rolling creek right outside your door. Stayed here numerous times always a wonderful time. The owner and his wife are great people. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.

This place is great! The owners are extremely helpful and friendly. It’s a beautiful location…close to so many fun things to do! Lots of restaurants in the area. Just a half hour drive to Asheville.

This is my go-to place when my body says enough. The owners are like family and they will always leave a light on for you. If you are looking for an awesome place just to go, relax, sit in a swing on the creek, and have no agenda, this is the place.

You will not find a better location to stay than The Valley Inn. The Inn is literally on Jonathan Creek with swings, gazebo and covered area with picnic tables. There’s a fire pit with plenty of split wood to burn for your enjoyment and don’t forget your marshmallows. The owners/operators are awesome folks. We have stayed at The Valley Inn several times and never had a bad experience. We love Andy and Linda, the owners, and I guarantee you will too if you choose The Valley Inn. They’re just great people. In addition, Andy is a Military Veteran who put his life on hold to serve his country in the Navy, so when you see him tell him Thanks.

Such an interesting place. Pros: Everyone we came in contact with was very friendly. The area out back next to the beautiful bold creek is wonderful - with lots of seating areas, a cupola, and a fire pit that the owners seem to fire up & keep going in the evening for the guests' enjoyment. Housekeeping were friendly and did their jobs well. Our room was very clean and comfortable... and had a coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave. It was nice having a deck running the length of the building outside our room for sitting and enjoying the view and creek if desired. The price was very fair. Cons: Now, some of these may not matter much to some guests - they didn't all matter to us... but I want to mention them so others understand the compromises. Kind of oddly, no shampoo is provided - only bars of soap. No hair dryer is provided. If we'd known this ahead of time, we'd have brought shampoo and our hair dryer. Perhaps it's mentioned on their website and I missed it. If it isn't mentioned, it should be. The walls are very thin. In the morning, we could easily hear our neighbor loudly blowing his nose! As mentioned, there's a coffee maker (& powdered cream, sugar, etc.).... but nothing to stir the coffee with. Again, overall we enjoyed the Valley Inn... and like supporting a throwback "Mom & Pop" property like this. The price is right, it's clean, and if you know what to expect and are OK with it, it's a nice place to spend a night or two in Maggie Valley.

Andy and The Valley Inn were the perfect host for a Veterans group of 14 motorcycles and 25 members!! The Valley Inn has a variety of rooms to meet anyone's needs and price. Andy, a veteran himself, went out of his way to meet the needs of our group and others to ensure a memorable experience. Ideal location on the creek, we had access to grills, fire pit (firewood), gazebo, plenty of chairs to accommodate our group. We plan to make this an annual event to Maggie Valley; we will stay with Andy at The Valley Inn!!

First time staying and we had a wonderful experience. Andy (the owner) is one of the kindest people we’ve ever dealt with. Will definitely be staying here again. We used the grills, gazebo, covered carport with picnic tables and fire pit. Rooms were clean and quiet and they have a small laundry room for guest use.

If ever you are in Maggie Valley and need a place to stay…Give Andy a call and he will take good care of you! It was so nice to stay in a place that has great service, great hospitality, very clean and just felt like home! Being able to sit by the creek with a nice fire to relax was exactly what we needed! We loved our stay and will definitely be back! A BIG THANK YOU to Andy! Tammy does a fantastic job cleaning the rooms! Y’all keep up the great work!

The Valley Inn was a perfect fit for our family. This was our first stay at The Valley Inn and we'll definitely return. Our extended family booked 3 different rooms and each room was clean, well kept and comfortable. We loved that the property had room for the kids to play outside. Also, being able to sit by the creek was very enjoyable both day and night.
