The Valley Inn

This is the most Awesome hotel in Maggie Valley been staying here for years most years a couple times a year Andy the owner is a great guy always have towels out of the morning to wipe our bikes down an just great hospitality

Andy and Linda make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need to enjoy your stay. We loved sitting creekside enjoying the quiet, having picnics at the gazebo, watching the wildlife and enjoying being with family during our stay at the Valley Inn. We will be back to enjoy the NC mountains again with Andy and Linda and their lovely Inn.

We tried to visit here a couple of times a year. Andy and Linda and Tammy are the best! I could write a book on how much we love it here suffice to say please consider staying here on your visit to Maggie Valley. You’ll be glad you did.

The Valley Inn is a place to relax and feel at ease. This place has a wonderful stream running behind it and there are 4 sets of couple swings , a fire pit and gazebo right on the creek so you can sit out an just chill with the sounds of the creek running over the rocks and birds chirping. They had an area with a grill and a laundry room too which is always a welcome sign if you are traveling and you did not bring a lot of change of clothes !!! Andy , the owner super sweet and recommended the best places to eat. Tammy the housekeeper also super sweet and so nice just like hanging out at your Uncle's house or something, The bed we had was comfortable the AC was cold, Mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker just what is needed to have a great stay. We were there for 3 days and enjoyed every minute.

I brought a few of my daughters up from Florida to try and see snow. Andy was very helpful in getting me my last minute reservation and provides friendly hospitality. The Valley Inn isn’t fancy but it’s clean, the bed was very comfortable and it fit our needs just fine. Charming red barn design, front porch with rockers, and the beautiful creek running behind the inn is a nice touch. My daughters enjoyed a photo shoot out back! It was raining most of our visit so we didn’t get the opportunity to enjoy the fire pit and creek side swings but hope to be back again in the summer.

If you are going to Maggie Valley, this is the place to stay! There is a gazebo and fire pit on the creek, with plenty of picnic tables, charcoal grills, swings and corn hole boards. You can enjoy all of this while staying in a quaint Inn far enough off the road where there is no traffic noise. Walk out back and you forget you are near a main road. You can fish for trout, hang out with friends or meet new ones. The owner "Andy" is so accommodating. Anything you need, just ask. This Inn is run like the Inns of the old days before all the chains built here. Once you stay here, you will always return to this Inn when you visit the area. Very clean rooms...and great prices.

Lovely place to stay. Older inn and the rooms are small but the rate was Great. Our group was about 20 folks and we enjoyed the FIRE PIT by the beautiful running stream. If I had any negatives it was the mattress, it was quite soft and lumpy. Had a good sleep anyway. And I liked the parking in the back not seen from the street.

We were simply seeking cooler weather and left the house with no plans at all... we headed to Cherokee only to find it full of people and noise, so we continued to Maggie Valley hoping it would be quieter. We drove the strip to look for a simple motel on the water for the night, and the red barn look of this inn caught my eye, so we turned around to check it out and found everything we were looking for. It felt like home the minute you drove on the property. The owner is very welcoming and fantastic. The king jacuzzi room we had was super clean and well appointed with antique furniture as if grandma decorated it herself. The water was hot and the WiFi worked well. Everything you would need is provided. Gazebo, fire pit, porch swings by the creek, covered area, grills, firewood, and corn hole boards. Everything has been kept up well and every need met. I hesitated doing a review because I would never want this place spoiled, but all the people at the Valley Inn deserve to be recognized for the exceptional retreat they provide.
