The Alpine Motel

Very noisy - street and hotel parking. Floors sticky! Otherwise very clean. Very poor lighting.

Little Motel nestled in the center of a small mountain town. Walking distance to a Pizza place(fair) and a bar and grill(very good). Grocery store across the street, very nice owner. I see a lot of reviews talking about the angry store owner, but we experienced great hospitality. The Motel has no check in(not a problem), they text you a code for your room and the front desk. Most of the time nobody but the cleaner is onsite, was not an issue for us. The front desk has chips, frozen hot pockets, drinks and coffee. All free, with a tip box if you feel like it. My kids enjoyed it, so I tipped. Room was clean with some updates. Shower was hot, beds were comfy. More than I expected for a motel. The front desk was a huge + for my family. Will stay again on our next visit to the area.

Room was very comfortable, clean, nicely appointed. Water pressure is horrible, but I found it that's a town thing, so no fault to the motel.

The room was very clean and met our basic needs. The beds were comfortable (for us - realizing that is a very personal preference), it was quiet and in a good location. The rooms are simple, and honestly outdated - but it was fine. There isn't on site staff, other than the cleaning person who checked in on things serval times and was very friendly, but it all worked well. We would definitely stay there again. Just don't expect resort or high-end hotel service or amenities - it's not that at all. But everyone was friendly and it was clean and worked great for our needs.

Easy check in and adorable little room for one night. Great find!

Town rolls up at 8pm so make your dinner plans early.
