Grey Pine Lodge

Okay from a cost standpoint but not a perfect stay. We had a couple bugs and peeling paint, if you care about that. Wasn’t a huge deal for us. I loved the green space with fire pits and you could buy s’mores kits and fire wood. It’s a “no-contact” property so we didn’t speak to anyone but we were in and out. It was a little odd accessing the store with a code and buying soda on camera with a scanner but it worked We couldn’t get the tv to stream from various apps but YouTube tv worked so it wasn’t a total loss.

I think the motel is renovated beautifully. The coffee bar/gift shop area was cute. Easy for us to use.if we had stayed longer we would have loved to take advantage of the fire pit and trail.

Spent just one night, but was new and clean.

Lovely refurbished motel, clean, nice garden. Only problem was there are no staff. We had a question and received no answer from the remote staff. As we come from another country and do not have data communication was difficult.

What a great and convenient place to stay when in the Waynesboro area! A 1950's motel completely renovated but still has that nostalgic feel. Very clean and self check in was a breeze. Loved the little Pine Shop that had items for sale, amongst them bundles of wood for the multiple fire pits as well as smores kits! We will def be staying here next time we're in this area.

Overall, great option near the intersection of Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway. I’d stay again. We were there on a holiday weekend, and there were small things that would have been easier if there was someone onsite, for example they ran out of matches in the store and our room was missing a wine opener. But we were out enjoying the area for the most part, and it was a great central home base.

Perfect in all ways! Very clean, condituon like new!
