The Local - St. Augustine

Location is great and in walking distance to breweries and restaurants.

Check in was very stressful and I felt that during most of my communications, I was conversing with an AI Bot. It was a NIGHTMARE. What I learned is that digital is fine when communication is clear. This was not the case.

We were curious about trying a limited service hotel. While the room was very clean and the bed and bathroom were adequate, the lack of follow through when you texted the staff was frustrating. There was only 1 face washcloth(the rest of the towels were fine so that omission seemed odd), no extra toilet paper and we had less than a roll left, the batteries in the Roku remote went dead within minutes. We texted the staff who responded via text quickly advising they would address, but never showed up to remedy those minor issues. We were directed to the lobby to get our own extra roll of TP. On the morning we checked out, the coffee machine was empty. Bring your earplugs as the walls are thin.

Excellent location, clean.

Sparse yet completely adequate.

The water, lol. Eww. Funny story. No person on site, like I couldn't ask a question or get a toothbrush, but that keeps ur costs down.
