SIGNAL HILL MOTEL

Great place to catch a good night sleep for an affordable price. Bed was comfortable and clean. Towels and shower were good. Easy stay. I will return.

The general vibe of the room was pretty dirty. One of the light fixtures in the bathroom was missing bulbs, the light switches were kinda gross, the room was advertised as non-smoking but smelled strongly of smoke. The room I stayed in was a handicap accessible room, the shower reminded me of what you'd see at a pool, there was no lip at all, which means the entire bathroom floor was the same as the shower floor. I didn't use it, but it still dripped constantly, so the nearly whole bathroom floor was kinda wet. No fault of the Motel, but the location is a bit sketchy, there were a few times throughout the night I heard people yelling at each other outside. AC worked great though, TV was good, and it had a working microwave and fridge/freezer.

Overall it was okay. I would stay again

Room smells like smoke. Someone put a plastic bag over the smoke alarm so I reported it but was completely ignored. The room was not very clean either. Highly discourage anyone who is not a transient to stay there.

I had a comfortable stay despite the fact my 2days there I didn't have access to enter my room with the key that was working and front desk near seem to answer

This was not worth the money paid. The key card didn’t work, so every time you wanted to enter the room the front desk clerk would have to let you in. That was very inconvenient and odd. The door was very hard to open and close, you have to use some force. The room was so small, the bed frame was disgusting, the pillows were extremely flat, the floors were dirty my white socks looked gross, the bathroom is super small, the walls are thin, so you can hear guests in other rooms. At some point in the night around 3am someone was whistling it was very eerie, it sounded like a call, definitely something out of a horror film. There was not that much parking, the images of the motel are deceiving. This is the type of place you go to and want your money back. Don’t waste your time or money.
