Nobis Hotel Palma

The location is great if you want to be in Palma. The building is also beautiful. Bed was uncomfortable though. Our room was dark and small. Overall, pretty good. Food was overpriced.

When we first booked this hotel seeing the photos and as it was rated a 5 star we had really high hopes. When we arrived it definitely gives the feel of a small boutique hotel vibe. The history of the building is kind of cool as it used to me an old muslim palace from the 12th century. We checked into our room and when we were brought to our room it was underwhelming small. I mean tiny. We could not even find an area to lay our luggage down on the floor to open it, the only place it would fit was the bed. I addressed this concern and they told us we could switch rooms but we would have to be switched to a 3rd room on the last day of our trip. As we were only staying 3 days this was a lot of inconvenience. As we had already been in the room for a few hours I had unpacked a bit so we had to re pack and move rooms. The second room was a larger room and spacious but the air conditioning was not getting cold and at 2 am I had to request a fan to be brought to the room. The room was SO loud. All throughout the night and morning you could hear people in other rooms talk, cough, people in the hallway. House keeping vacuuming upstairs and moving things around. House keeping wheeling their cleaning carts around and them chatting in hallway. There was nothing in this hotel that could not be heard. On the last night we were moved to a 3rd room and it was same thing, was really loud and hot although this room was a better size than the first one. Our hallway had some type of leak on the floor and they had a bunch of workers cleaning and it smelled really bad. Don’t fall for the photos of this hotel, as they are beautiful but accommodations once you were inside are not up to par with the price and the 5 stars rating. Staff is nice and kind and I know these issues are not completely their fault but this hotel ruined our trip. Location is central and can walk to everything. After exploring the city I can say there are definitely better options to stay at especially for the price.

What a gorgeous haven. We went for drinks only… both the inside bar and outside area are so beautiful, welcoming, calm and special. I’d highly recommend this. Location is central but quiet. The entrance space is open and serene and is immediately appealing.

We absolutely loved our stay and want to come back! Everything was perfect! We wish we could have stayed longer. Everyone was super helpful, the property and rooms were perfect, and breakfast was a highlight!

Stayed here in late June, 2025 after a long trip around the world. What a perfect hotel. The grounds of the hotel are immaculate, with rich history and architectural perfection. Clean, sleek with old world charm. Staff I have to say was about the best in my many years of traveling around the planet. They were charming, engaging, helpful and attentive to every need. If you are going to Palma, this is the ONLY place to stay - really a perfect hotel.

One of the most exceptional hotels - absolutely beautiful decor and ambiance, in a 10/10 location. The entire city is accessible on foot, or you can park a car in the public parking garage that is a 3 minute walk away. The rooms were spacious with beautiful amenities, and a great amount of closet space. The staff are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable and truly make the overall experience even better. Highly suggest cocktails in the evening at Bar Mirall - ask for Ramon. Breakfast has fantastic options and variety, and the best latte ever.

We recently stayed at this 5-star hotel and, honestly, I expected more for $600 a night. There were definitely some great things about our stay, but overall, I don’t think the experience lived up to the price. The Good: - The staff here are absolutely wonderful—super friendly and always happy to help. Definitely one of the highlights of the hotel. - The common areas like the lobby, bar, sunroom, and rooftop are beautifully decorated. You really get that luxury feel when you're walking through. - The location is perfect. We could walk to most restaurants and shops in under 10 minutes, which made getting around super convenient. - The complimentary breakfast was amazing—delicious food, great variety, and very well presented. We looked forward to it every morning. The Not-So-Good: - Our room (102) was really small. The layout was strange—shower was right next to the bed with barely any space, and the toilet was across the room, down a step in the corner. On top of that, the ceiling above the toilet was slanted downward, so if you’re tall, be careful—you might bump your head. It just felt awkward and not well thought-out. At night, having to step down to reach the toilet felt unsafe, especially for kids or older guests. - On the first night, the shower light didn’t work. Staff initially suggested I bring a lamp into the shower (which felt pretty unsafe), but there wasn’t even room for that. Leaving the shower door open just meant water splashing toward the bed. I ended up showering in another room that was under maintenance—not exactly the 5-star experience I was expecting. - The second night, the shower head stopped working. I couldn’t switch it to handheld mode because the knob was stuck. Maintenance did come quickly to fix it, but still—not something I expected to deal with at this level of hotel. - Soundproofing was poor. By 8 a.m., I could already hear people walking around in the room above us. If you’re a light sleeper, this might be an issue. As a Platinum Elite member, I didn’t get a room upgrade or a welcome gift, which was disappointing. Two of my friends with lower status actually had better rooms, and one of them received a complimentary welcome gift. When I asked the front desk, they were surprised they didn't offer it to me and offered chocolate to delivery to my room, but I never received them. One more thing to note: there’s no real pool. There’s a tiny water feature on the in the main lobby area that looks more like a decorative fountain. I asked the staff if anyone ever goes in, and they said basically no—except maybe on New Year’s Eve when people are drunk. Honestly, they should just advertise it as “no pool,” because that’s what it really is. Bottom line: While the service, location, and breakfast were all great, the room design, maintenance issues, lack of soundproofing, and missing elite perks made the stay feel way overpriced. For $600 a night, I expected far better. I’d recommend looking into other hotels nearby that offer more comfort and better value for your money.

The property is visually stunning and located in a prime spot, but the experience didn’t live up to expectations. The only pool is inside the spa, and unfortunately, it was out of service during the main summer season. The parent hotel, which could serve as a substitute with its swimming pool, restricts access to sunbeds for guests, making it far from relaxing. Breakfast was underwhelming, with most of the better options on the à la carte menu being charged extra and even then, the quality was poor. The service lacks the quality it should have for this place. The drinks at the mirall bar were similarly disappointing; my espresso martini was barely drinkable and far from enjoyable. I had to return it. In our very small room, the air conditioning didn’t work properly, adding to the discomfort. Overall, the experience didn’t justify the high price tag, and it certainly didn’t feel like a true 5-star hotel. There are much better options available in Mallorca.
