SH Colon Valencia Hotel

The staff was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was great.

Top Lage. Personal war sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend, v.a. eine Woman of Color mit Braids beim Frühstücksbuffet, deren Namen ich leider nicht weiss. Ich glaube, ich hatte noch nie so einen netten Service wie den von ihr. Top!

The hotel was good it was clean and modern and well located for the historic centre. Staff were very helpful and recommended three good restaurants which we used and enjoyed. The terrace was a big bonus as we had no balcony but you could sit out in the sun. However the food in the restaurant was inedible the burger and chips were cold and the steak was raw.

The hotel is very convenient for the train station and metro.Checkin was fine. It has a lovely terrace outside the lounge/bar area. Our premium room was a good size, very clean and well appointed. But at the front of the hotel and very noisy, loud music in the evening and traffic for a lot of the night. We had asked for a room at the back but apparently they are all standard rooms and were not available. I would certainly not stay in a front room again..

Good central area eith easy access to centre for shopping, some fabulous restaurants in walking district too. Tram, buses & trains all close by easy to use to visit Valencia's attractions.

Great location to train station, old town, dining and sites in Valencia. Well appointed and comfortable.

Près de la vieille ville, à côté de l’arrêt pour le bus up and off, plusieurs option restos. Stationnement public dans le même édifice qui communique avec l’hôtel

We were given the wrong room on arrival, a small double bed instead of two singles which meant sleeping with my friend! There was not a great apology and we had to push for any compensation (free breakfast the next morning) we were then moved to a different room but they would not help with moving luggage, we had to take back down to reception, then pick up later that day and take to our new room. We then had a ceiling leak in the bathroom, the female receptionist then rudely kept saying we are full….not that we had even asked to move. This was fixed to then get a blocked sink. We had a very mixed reaction at reception, some staff were nice but one female receptionist was extremely rude. We have to say the bar man was fantastic, great service and couldn’t do enough for us. Bien solo q al estar cerca de una escuela el ruido de los niños desde temprana hora se escuchaba. No son tan insonorizadas así como una construcción al lado
