GBLoved everything about the place, it had everything you needed and more. Cosy, very comfortable bed. Good shower. Parking. Short walk in to Hawkshead. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

GBexceptionally equiped cottage, with everything you need for the stay. including games and books for bad weather days. The rooms were of good size and furniture very comfortable. In a beautiful setting on the edge of the village, just a 5 min walk to the centre.
The double bed seemed very small, my husband is 5ft 10 and his feet were out the bottom, it was narrow and although we are just average size, it was difficult to turn over and/or have any space between us, the bedroom is huge and could easily accomodate a king size bed.

Amazing, the photos do not do it justice, lovely cosy cottage a home from home and fully equipped. Great location, short walk to village incl pubs and chippy, also access to walks (which pass through livestick fields so dogs on leads). Grizedale forest was a short drive away with really good (long & short) walks, better for dogs off leads.
