USEverything was new. Freshly painted.
The location dot in booking.com showed it near Main St IN Hawkshead. It is actually a 8 minute walk. With groceries it means you have to park and pay in Hawkshead. Not right in town by shops. If that is not what you need then being a short walk would suit you. If you have small children it would be nicer to be in town. Owner sends post code few days before when it is too late to make other plans.
GBReally well provided for. Everything was considered and communication was excellent. Lovely spot within short walking distance of local pubs and walks.

It’s a shame it didn’t have particular great views.

We was on the first floor the cottage was dark and no view it was full of African sculptures and strange things ( leather top hat in the bedroom) which just didn't go
