"Home away from home"

Well located, with homely charm and exceptional staff. Everything was comfortable and cozy, neat and clean. Felt like a home away from home.

I could not pick up the wifi from my room, only stayed 1 night, so it was not an issue. I am sure that this can be easily addressed, or it could be that there was just an issue on the day.

"Shelbourne Lodge"

The place was very clean and quiet. It was easy to find and quite close to the venue I needed to be at. I also came back very late and had no hassles getting to my room. They were very accommodating with regards to early check in and early check out.

There was an instance where another guest seemed to have gotten lost and tried to open my room door in the early hours of the morning (my door was locked) but it just startled me.

The breakfast was delicious and catered to our request. The location of the venue is perfect for the Umhangla and Durban North area. Very convenient.

Parking is a bit tight.

The property is secluded and quiet, despite its proximity to shopping and Umhlanga beaches. Gugu is an outstanding host, breakfast was wonderful, the rooms were spotless.
