"Beautiful location which is disappointingly marred by loud noise."

Beautiful furnishings in a convenient and scenic location. Cleo, the host, was very welcoming and helpful.

Loud noise was common. The apartment we stayed in was connected to the main home/guest lobby by an unlocked door. This meant that noise traveled easily into our room (where our 2 year old daughter was supposed to sleep), with the staff and guests speaking loudly on several occasions early in the morning. The neighbours also have dogs who bark at all hours of the night - which seems to be amplified into the apartment with its poor acoustics. It also feels like part of the apartment is lived in by the owner on some occasions, with several cupboards being filled with personal items and clothes.
