"Ok but not again"

Location outside the center but okay. Nice, unobstructed view. Clean room, and the parfait was delicious.

Pictures look much better than reality. Some cheap renovations and already a bit worn down. Bed completely saggy and only 1.90 m long despite being King size. Booked an apartment with a terrace — turned out to be the parking area, and everyone walked past it to enter the building. No privacy at all; you could see straight onto the bed. Breakfast was okay, but the cold cuts were low quality.

Die Lage direkt am Meer war genial. Allerdings gibt es bessere Wohngebiete in Hermanus. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

War sehr abgelegen. Koch sollte in der Küche bleiben, er ist ahnscheinend ein sehr starker Raucher.

"Gorgeous views!"

The view was stunning. The room was clean and had a big bathroom. The bed was super comfortable. The host and his staff were nice and welcoming.

The room we had was attached to the main house. Our front door had a gate but the property itself isn’t gated. Nothing happened in terms of safety but we did feel a bit uneasy our first night, as it was very unexpected. Just to inform people that this property is not in Hermanus itself. You will need to either call an Uber or drive to the city to grab dinner or explore the town. We didn’t mind this at all but wanted to share it for others.

Sehr schöne, direkt am Wasser gelegene Unterkunft, die etwas abseits der Stadt liegt. Ein fahrbarer Untersatz ist ein Muß. Ein ortskundiger Uber Fahrer auf dem Weg zur Stadt ist abends sehr hilfreich (funktioniert auch sehr zuverlässig für kleines Geld), als Tourist würde man ansonsten evtl. Gefahr laufen, sich außerhalb der "normalen" touristischen Pfade wiederzufinden (Township).

Alles OK, evtl. als Verbesserungsvorschlag gedacht: bei der Belegung des Familienzimmers mit vier Personen, könnte man über eine oder zwei zusätzliche Kofferablagen nachdenken.
