"Welcoming, friendly and cosy."

We liked our welcome and tour of the hotel. Our rooms were cosy, clean and quiet. I especially liked our room as we had a settee and window seat. My daughters didn't have this in their rooms. We chose our breakfasts from the list and the next morning, the chef introduced himself, explained about breakfast and cooked our choices. Very good. Check in and check out online were easy. Parking on site was good.

Really communicative and welcoming staff, excellent breakfast and very nicely decorated hotel and room. Location very easy for central York. Parking arrangements also good.

The location of this hotel is 20 min stroll to the centre of York. The breakfast was amazing, you do have to pre book what you would like the day before but we did not find that a problem. Room very clean and well furnished.
