Great location in a very old listed pub. Everywhere was spotlessly clean,the rooms were comprehensively equipped for a short stay with comfortable beds,tea and coffee facilities etc The breakfast menu was comprehensive and delicious. The staff were always attentive and cheerful,nothing was too much trouble.A most enjoyable stay.

Because the pub was very old and listed the rooms and facilities had to be fitted in.This meant that the en suite and furnishings were a bit small and limited..This did not spoil our stay in any way

Everything about the hotel was just fantastic, the location was stunning, the staff were very friendly and attentive especially the 2 young girls whose names I didn't get, one was working on the Thursday night and the other girl Friday morning, both really couldn't do enough for you, were so very lovely and really looked after us. I would highly recommend The Black Lion Hotel.
