Breakfast was very good, you could have whatever cooked combination you wanted, GF was catered for, also Veggie. The location was good for visiting many different places and close to the event at Thursford that we were attending.

Parking is a bit hit and miss but there is very little the venue can do about that. Tiny village, narrow lanes etc.. We are used to that sort of thing so it was no problem for us.

Didn’t know we could order cereals for breakfast as they weren’t on the menu The floor in room 6 slopes and so does the bed - the bed needs levelling to stop rolling off

Breakfast was very good, good choice nicely presented and well cooked, my wife had kippers which she thoroughly enjoyed and I had the full English which set me up for the day.

Beautiful little village steeped in history in a lovely part of Norfolk. The hotel was full of character and old world charm with clean warm rooms, friendly attentive staff and excellent food.

Only one small gripe, the bathroom/shower was very small and parking close to the hotel was limited.

We booked an overnight stay as we were attending the Thursford Christmas Extravaganza. We were welcomed by polite, friendly staff on arrival & checked in. Room was clean & well provided, also very warm which wasn't a problem as we could just turn the radiator down. Bed comfortable. Bathroom very small but functional. Excellent breakfast, we had the kippers which were cooked to perfection, the only downside being they were not boneless. Also surprised no choice of cereals on the menu but the rest of the menu surpassed all expectation.

Bathroom / Shower area very small, making manoeuvrability restricted, (a large-framed person would find it very difficult).
