Inviting 2-Bed Cottage in Windsor

Toilet smell was bad couldn’t turn the heating off couldn’t watch normal tv the property was in disrepair not good

Amazing location. Small living room but spacious dining room and kitchen. Good range of facilities.

Arrived around 8.00pm and noticed immediately the home was far too hot and that the heating was on even though it was hot outside. Radiator valves were broken and no instructions on how or where to turn off heating. Messaged host via messenger but received no reply. Also received no reply the day before when asking to confirm check-in time (though did not matter in the end as we arrived late). Toilet was quite temperamental as noted by others. Stairs were also quite steep - not an issue for us but worth noting for anyone with children or mobility issues. Probably wouldn't stay here again unless the temperature and plumbing issues were addressed.

Excellent location

Advertised 2 bathroom, but only 1. Advertised parking, then was told parking at night, but sign says permit required, no permit so paid for expensive parking. £25 for 12hrs. Bedroom was advertised as 2 doubles. It was double and room with 3 singles. Suited our group, but not if 2 couples.

great location near a lot of restaurants, shops and the Windsor Castle. We really appreciated the homey touches and extras like laundry detergent, a cute stuffed duck my daughter adored, restaurant recommendations and a list of things to do

The bathroom faucet handle was a bit damaged and the toilet wouldn't always flush. I wish the house binder with rules and recommendations had been out and visible instead of in a drawer. I only found it as we were checking out.

Fantastic location central to Windsor. Easy walk to all the main areas and next to the train station and public transport. Everything is an easy walk so no need for car or taxi

Location was excellent: less than 5 mins walk to Windsor Castle. Access to the property was easy.

Well, several things. The first noticeable issue was when we walked into the property, it was very warm. There was no room thermostat control and all of the radiators had broken thermostats controls. There were no instructions on how to use TV and we could not access Freeview. The cleaning was not great and two mouldy biscuits were found in a kitchen cupboard. The range of kitchen utensils and pans made cooking a challenge. As for safety, there were two smoke alarm ceiling brackets but the actual smoke alarms were found on a window ledge and on a kitchen shelf.
